when i was farming money pre rok i was using 3 different characters on 2 accounts to do farming. i have a habit of keeping most of my plat on whichever one im currently using the most in case something i want to buy pops up. as a result, it was common for me to mail between 50-250 plat from character to character several times a week because i could. i highly doubt im the only person who does this. if the mail system fucks me like that, you better believe im gonna be pissed

I feel your pain. I sent a shitload of crafting raws from one of my toons to the other recently. Got the mail, received gifts, and ... holy shit... they never appeared in my inventory. So, I file a petition, then I go and harvest more. For hours and hours and hours. Then I go craft. GM Assmunch (I can't remember his name) replies to me and says "You used resources to craft, you aren't missing anything." I'm like... no shit, you flaming idiot. I went and harvested more while waiting for you to handle this! If I wanted to get snide comments and be talked down to, I'd call my fucking insurance company.

When my 4-year son throws a temper tantrum (sometimes because his game is working right for him) in the middle of the livingroom floor, I ignore him until he's all done with the rage rambling, foot stomping and toy throwing. After he's done, all is well in the world again. He gets a little bit of 4-year old angst out of his system and I get a chance to check out the highlight reel on TSN.

Moral of the story: It isn't that they can't hear the screaming and crying, its just that they have other stuff to occupy themselves with until the rage is tantrumed out of your system.

Still bad service. If you lose a lot of time because of a bug in their product, they should replace that, temper tantrum or not. SOE aren't being payed to teach moral lessons, they're being payed to provide a service that works, and CS are being payed to deal with us fuckers when it doesn't.

Welcome to retail services in the 21st century. The complaint form is similar in size, shape and hue to the dollar bills that we consumers push at the suppliers. If you're unhappy, the only real recourse, at the end of the day, is withholding those dollars and cents.

Ideally, drawing attention to a bug in a polite, educated manner will result in a similarly polite follow-up and correction. Not every fix is quick and/or withstands the test of time. Throwing a fucking online hissy fit, although cathartic, is a ridiculous and hopelessly unproductive response.

my maolbox works just fine. When I click on Maol then the little window opens I can type whatever i want in there, but the recepient does not always reply. Sometimes I prefer to use the public access maolboxes, but only on the weekend.
