What should I do?
I'm currently extremely bored in game. I've managed to level up to 78 on my Defiler and Guardian, collection quested my Dirge to L72, and crafted up to L80 Alchemist and Jeweler, but I can't say that I'm really excited to keep playing. I haven't done any sort of actual playing since Sunday afternoon, and I'm honestly not missing it. If anything, I'm a bit sad, because once upon a time I really enjoyed playing and couldn't wait to log in.
I've been giving serious thought to finding a raiding guild that plays when I do (late CST), but after reading some of the feedback threads on RoK raid zones, they seem to be filled with lots of complaints and even some talk of quitting due to the raids being boring and dull, filled with loot that isn't worth bidding on, etc. If that's honestly the case, moving into a raiding guild isn't likely to solve much.
So I have to ask you guys - Is the endgame worth it? Should I look into making a move to raiding? Or should I cut my losses now and call it a day?

Re: What should I do?
I would say it depends on if you were top tier raiding in T7. If you have avatar loot, and to a lesser extent, all EoF fabled for set bonuses, etc. Then I would imagine that lots of the RoK stuff won't be that big of an upgrade for you. We haven't cleared T2 yet with my guild, but some of the stuff I've seen is fairly nice for all classes, it's just that some of it isn't so nice that it's worth breaking up an EoF set bonus for. As far as boring and dull... that would depend on how competent your raid force is, how much dps they're capable of, etc. The lower tier raids are tuned for a much lower teir of player than those that were killing avatars on a regular basis.
On a side note... Thanks SoE for making an expansion where you punished those who like to group. A great idea to make soloing the most viable path to expansion... because that's why everyone plays an MMO, so they don't have to interact with anyone else !

Re: What should I do?
Thing is, other than raiding the game is done, finished, no meat left on its bones.
If I werent in a nice guild that I log in to raid with, SOE would not see any money from me ever.
So, to answer your question, I'd leave IMMEDIATELY if not to raid with a decent group of people. It's not about loot for me, I don't care that much anyway since gear and progression are so broken it doesn't really matter.

The answer is simple, Grasshopper.
Start over on PVP. It has it's challenges, but you won't regret it if you stick it out. Way more fun IMO.

Pvp online. 1.4 was released and Crash is an X-mas map: Santa chants "HO HO HO" when you carpet bomb the map.

Re: What should I do?
I'm enjoying RoK raids actually. We're currently in Veeshan's Peak (3 nameds dead) and so far I like it. Sure, there have been some retarded encounters but also some really nice ones. The difficulty could be a bit higher but I think that most casual raid guilds (raiding 4 times a week or so) will struggle to clear T2.
The heroic instances aren't bad either, at least Maiden's Chamber. Most are too easy unless you go in with a pickup group, though. So here's me hoping they'll add a "Nizara"-type zone.

Re: What should I do?
There is nothing to do once you hit 80.
Once your 80 what can you do? A few heroic instances over and over and over or you can raid the same zones over and over and over. They removed everything else that there is to do in the game by making you solo level.
So you are bored. You have 2 options then. Raid or quit and come back when they add content. I would say go enjoy another game until you feel like you really want to play eq2.
