/shrug I don't even bother with SOE boards.
The info and entertainment is WAY better here anyway.
The only thing SOE boards were ever good fro was update notes...And yeah, update notes aren't worth a fuck.
All the fluff and none of "How we are fucking you this week!" Might as well put it right out in the open. We all figure it out anyway and are more pissed when we do.

I made a thread about why the original was deleted and why I didnt get at least a PM explaining why and it was also deleted (but I did get a PM this time :P ). It was deleted withing 1 min. Shortly after someone else posted a "follow up" to my original thread asking no one troll (since that is the reason they deleted the first) which was also deleted shortly after I got the PM from the MOD. Funny that the poster was standing behind me ingame at the time.

The MODs on the official forums are horrible. I am sure they are just following orders, but they cannot even be consistent in how they handle things. which is annoying.

I have not been enjoying the game that much lately and am close to canceling 2 of my accounts since they rarely get used. SoE seems to want me to cancel all 3 (not like they really care).

Also I really want to know if the whole "datamining" post was a challenge .. I mean .. it would not be hard to set up something to do it and I am sure We could find all kinds of fun stuff.

well that seems like a reasonable explanation given that low level characters can get into the zone now.

However, SoE should be able to find the "worst" exploiters easy enough with a simple query.

though nothings been done with the guild in question yet, or at least eq2players hasnt been updated if something had happened.

It takes one person like you, making comments like this, to discourage devs from posting on this site. You have the right to be a fucking idiot on this website, but do you really need to exercise that right?

I'm not telling anyone what not to do, I'm just giving my opinions. But I think we all benefit when devs post here, they sure as hell don't need to do that, and actually put themselves at risk when they post here. By making nasty, irrelevant, completely fucktard comments like the one you made above, you reduce the value of this site to all other users by discouraging dev participation. It's like you are intentionally harming this site and saying "fuck you" to all other users when you post this kind of idiocy.

Well here's the thing with that LFG, I agree with that guy to an extent. I rather like having the Devs post here with a sense of humor because it means that I'm playing a game developed by people who take the time to read what the population posts about their game. However the responses they made in regards to this issue so soon after that PR Spin letter that Bruce posted (which is a classic example to any company of what NOT to write) people are going to take it the wrong way...specially since this issue is happening on Unrest.

So basically keep up with the nifty comebacks and smart ass comments, they are a breath of fresh air and it's fun to have the Devs get involved with people on the forums regarding issues. However, bad taste IMO to do it so soon after that "Fuck You" letter.
