i'd actually be all for that suggestion as a veteran reward. anyone with a 3+ year veteran status and at least one toon at L80 should be given a new veteran reward, either 1 or 2 claims per account, that allows you to right click for instant L70 & 100AA's, with combat/casting skills maxed for that level and misc stuff (swimming/harvesting etc) set to a reasonable level. you're responsible for gear and spells. they can already do this with the Beta Buff bots; same mechanic.
anyone with that much time invested in the game and a character already at L80 should be given the opportunity to try another class, perhaps on another server with new friends, without grinding out the lower levels. the time spent to get from 70 to 80 is plenty to learn the basic and intermediate strats for that class, and the advanced stuff comes with time. |

Are you dumb? Its a great idea, except you should be allowed to claim a toon at any level with the 1.5x AA rule in effect. Grinding throught T2,3, and 4 is mindnumbing and painful. |

I actually enjoyed T2-5 so far, EoF with it's new content made those old tiers fun again. Also with the changes to xp in the lower tiers, I gain about 3 levels a day just solo questing for AA, and the occasional PUG. This is on a non-twinked alt, so you could easily double that if your twinked and grind xp.

I disagree with you. I think it is a fine idea, but I'm not sure I would give out a 70 with 100 AA. Maybe a level 50 or 60 with 50 AA. |
