I don't want immediate gratification, I just don't want to be pulling out my hair by level 30 because of the mind-numbing bullshit that is T3 and T4.
Thats the definition of lazy right there. Have you even bothered trying to level up a new toon, after the reduced xp requirements for lower tiers? Of course not. The claim of "minimal zones" to enjoy those levels, further proves to me your blatant ignorance on the subject.

Your also claiming that you shouldn't have to waste your time with lower level content, and a 50/50 toon should be granted to you instantly instead (hence instant gratification). Do you understand how stupid that sounds? (rhetorical of course, since obviously you don't) With the release of RoK why don't they just go ahead and bump us all up to 70? Since ya know, we've all put more than enough time into this game.

What a Dumbass.

I've got 2 accounts. My main and other alts on one, and another account almost full of alts. Don't explain game mechanics to me, I know how it works. That doesn't stop these levels from sucking. There should be a reward for time invested and for levels achieved. Please continue thinking you're hardcore, though.

I just started leveling my new main last week, and it took me all of 4 days to get from 20-40. Again this was mostly casual soloing for AA. If you think less than a week is too long to gain 20 levels, maybe MMOs just aren't for you.

I don't know where you're at to get 20-40 in 4 days, but please do tell. It takes several hours to get a level whether questing or grinding. As in at least a week to 10 days per 10 levels, depending on play times. There's no reason besides you think its lazy that I shouldn't want to wade through the face pounding boredom that is 30-45. 45 is a good level again, but the rest are horrible between 25 or 30 and there.

Also, thanks for the Office Space reference. I really appreciated your ability to be witty.

Then how in the crap am I not leveling? I'm doing the same things everyone else is. If its that easy, no biggie, but still. I can't get out of T4 for the most part at all. I just usually quit and delete.

Default Re: Dodgy toons on unrest ?

Lao,

There are a ton of quests to do in the Enchanted Lands, Zek the Orcish Wastes plus heritage quests. My monk had no trouble getting through T4...and I didn't even hit Steamfont until lvl 40 for goodness sake. I finished all the quests in EL and Zek first except for the three Heritage quests. I haven't even touched Nek castle yet. There are a ton of quests to do in Butcherblock Mountains, Nektulos Forest and Thundering Steppes. Heck I was still emptying my journal of T2 cause I did Antonica.

T2 is ungodly easy....if you are evil there is a ton of stuff to do in Timorous Deep or Darklight Woods that have very good rewards and excellent AA and xp. One day alone I went from lvl 1 to lvl 13 so far on my new baby coercer/sage.

Basically it's this formula that I've found...if you are good do Greater Faydark if evil do either Timorous Deep or Darklight Woods. Then progress to Butcherblock Mountains with some quests in Nek and TS thrown in for good measure with lots of discovery xp. For T4 do EL and then Zek ....if you get stuck around lvl 35 or so head to Steamfont and go from there.

T4/5 stay in Steamfont with some quests in the Feerrott thrown in for good measure. T5 head to Sinking Sands at lvl 45 and start questing there. Around lvl 50 head to Lesser Faydark and start quests there. Progress through to around lvl 55 and head to POF. Stay there till around lvl 60. At around lvl 57 or so if you are truly bored head to Tenebrous Tangle and start the basket quests.

In between find some time to work on Heritage quests....there are so many to choose from it's a no brainer...and lately I have seen more groups forming for low level HQ's such as Ghoulbane that throwing together raids and such for this is interesting those with sarnak or new alts who rejoined the game when Kunark hit. I won't list all the HQ's but doing a step here and a step there isn't so bad...you don't have to sit and push through the whole thing less that is how you like to roll...

Don't know what you are doing Lao but pushing through to lvl 40 doesn't take hardly any work. The real slow period I have found is around lvl 56 or so...in between 1 and 57 there are SO many quests in SO many zones to include HQ's, language quests, collection quests, and Lore and Legend that my journal is full by the time I hit lvl 35.

If you need any help lemme know...playing Camelia on Crushbone server for a bit...usually on early in the morning around 7:30 or so...till around 9am cst. Can always drop me a PM here as well as I read the forums every day. Don't give up at T4...it really does go quicker these days....xp at lower levels has been increased dramatically so it's not hard to hit 40 to 45 within a few days of play for even a few hours a day.

Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.

I'm glad I had my oldest toon, my swash at 41 that I could resurrect. I'm now 43, but its ok, cause I gotta xp lock at about 47 anyway so I can't go over level 50.
