Dodgy toons on unrest ? - Page 20

most no longer exist or they have blocked access to their infos on eq2players.. the last toon talked about "Eclaire" was on his merry way to feerott according to his profile and is still lvl 3 so the corpse in sof to the left was the culprit ( its no longer there)

i posted about this on the eq forums and they removed it with the quickness.. the wrote this to me..

I actually researched this [unrest level exploiters] yesterday [Jan-2-2007]. We hotfixed the exploit this morning [Jan-3-2007], and found all the people who used it. That is is currently with CS who will do all the cleanup per their policies.

So while you're trying to clean up Unrest, can you explain all of the "Anonymous" names on this list of the Top 100 Wealthiest toons on Unrest?

EverQuest II Players

Toons 5, 6, 7, 9, 58, 72, 80, 96, and 99 are all tagged as "Anonymous". Is this some feature in Station Players that allows people to go anon with how much plat they have, or is it a carryover from the transfer from Test to Unrest fiasco from last month?

That was explained in another thread by a player to be a feature available to anyone at EQ2players.

From the Admin permissions screen on EQ2Players...

* If set Private, this will replace your character's name with "Anonymous" on the Leaderboards (A change to Leaderboard Permissions can take up to 24 hours to take effect)
