I thought most of the GMs were from India or something and didn"t really get Christian holidays. Maybe SoE cut back their hours to boost the bottom line for the new year or just flat out canned half of them. Either way I don't buy the holiday story.

Most people take vacation time in this period, but most businesses do not close. I know that SCEA closes for 2 weeks, but they aren't the norm. In fact, most places you get off 2, maybe 3 days during this holiday period. So please, stop spouting off bullshit. My company is over 8,000 people we only got Christmas Day and New Years Day. I took the rest as vacation. Someone please point me to a job that gives 2 weeks at Christmas and I'm there!

I haven't worked since Xmas eve - I'll probably start making calls again on Monday though.
