The fact that the devs reply here the way they do should be a sure sign to the upper management that thier community side of things is fucked beyond belief. if any shit like that was going on where I worked people would have been fired long ago.

I like the way Dev's post here candidly, and are even willing to poke fun at others and themselves. The last thing I want is smoke constantly blown up my ass with contrived "yessum boss" and "no sir, right away sir" responses. I have a lot more respect for the dev that can post in sections knowing they'll get flamed, and even show a little backbone in their responses.

I'm glad the Official Forums went to shit, at least here the responses we get are straight forward, whether I agree with them or not.

Their first huge mistake was enforce the rule of no non-game play talk in the server sections. I mean wtf..that was 90% of the posts in those section. Just communities bsing during the day. Now it's barren wastelands with an occasional..hey..I'm new to the server posts..this in itself is probably what drove up busines here.

Next is this sanitation of the threads..come on..excessive negativity. I made a brief comment about..sure are a lot of people getting banned..next thing I have a PM from a mob threatening to suspend me for talking about others being banned. That kind of nazi moding is what pisses people off.

They made it so people don't feel comfortable posting..so now it's a barren wasteland.
