Default SOE's new "fix" for plat farmers -- "no subscription found" error

Apparently, SOE has decided to change how they bill.

Credit card companies are rejecting, or are being rejected, monthly subscription charges.

If your account poofs, check with your credit card company - there will be a denied charge on there.

Be careful when signing up again - SOE tries to trick you into buying the RoK bundle again for $39.99.

And the "official" response from Morningside on a 9 page thread about the same problem -> "this thread is now closed as it has now turned into nothing more than a billing issues thread and such billing support is not provided via the forums."

...wow... legendary customer service yet again.

Not sure if this is related but I bought RoK on 1 credit card, got an error message and still didn't have RoK on my account, so I used another credit card to buy RoK. Now have two bills for RoK, EQ2 customer service refused to refund either charge, instead they said they'd give e 80 free days of service.. which is bullshit. They said "Why didn't you attempt to contact us the next day you realized this?" I said I had tried emailing them 3 times, calling them 3 times, waited 45 mins the first time, an hour the next, then an hour the next and finally got through.. and also waited hours for text support with no response. Pretty fuckin shitty customer service IMO.

Why is this a "customer service issue"? Its stated quite clearly in the ToS on the SOE forums that billing issues and other customer support issues are to be directed through the documented channels.

This is an aspect of the forums I never understood. Why is posting a bitch thread on their official forums which CS is restricted from reading in the first place, a good idea to get a CS issue resolved?

Of course these threads are going to get locked. Its against the ToS. Hit yourself in the head with a board and then go post how unfair it is that it hurt. You'd be laughed out of the game. XD

yeh i noticed that after my xmas break, almost bought the 40 dollar bundle again was amazed they made it like that.

kinda relates to this thread, basicly says that soe was cracked in the billing department... I wonder if I should be worried rofl....

Sorry, but I had to sign up to respond to this idiotic post.

There's evidence of a security breach in credit card information at SOE and you are worried about fucking ToS on the Sony EQ2 forums? Do you work for Sony?
