I'm all for seeing content tested, but the idea of the day of LU42 going live players being able to go to the wikii and getting a walk through on their epic is fucking retarded. It wont matter after a couple of weeks all the spoilers will be out but those of us who like to be the first to do something all enjoy being the first to figure it out not being the first to read it off some site. Testers are not held to any nda so the info will be published. If its their people are gonna use it. I will too, as to not to give others an advantage over me and my guildies on contested spawns others will read about in advance.

SOE has kept them a secret this long, they need to internally test them a bunch with devs to work out bugs, But do not put them on Test server for the public to memorize 2 week before they go live. To do so would be a huge let down imo.

But really, If they could take a select group of people and run them through a few times to test that, and only them, if info got out well they would know who it was.

People will be bitching about the epic anyway. When it doesn't hit test we do the beta testing on live and if it hits test there still will be bugs left to moan and bitch about. Either way there will be tons of complains about the weapons sucking, the quests being too damn easy, the bugs in quest design and such...

So, does it really matter? :D

I highly doubt that complete epic line will be tested on test. Don't get me wrong, I really thank test community their efforts, but I dont think test server would manage to gather a full raid force together to finish ALL epic lines... well... maybe Lucky can test them all with his InstaEpicKill button :P

If they put all 24 on test I bet less then ten will make it to normal servers.

Rest has to wait till next LU...and of course some classes will have to wait till end of the year.

(its either that, or only the legendary will be implemented, and the fabled mid this year...or some such)

Even with testing, there will be bugs. Imagine releasing it without outside testing.

Regardless of what they do, the live servers are there actual test servers.

No way will anybody be happy with the raid epics and item effects/quests will be bugged regardless if they spent 4 years on the test server.

SoE does not test shit. They make $0 from it.
