So, did Bruce get fired or what?

He takes on the new job as Producer...gives a hello post then a fine screw you post about the test tranfers...now nothing. He hasn't been on the forums since mid December. I was kind of looking forward to hearing from him the future direction of things.

Does anyone know if he even working at SOE at the moment?

I've met him a few times. He seemed to me like a nice, but very technically oriented person.

My take on him is that he is much more of a "hardcore programming and technology type" than a "marketing and design type" like Gallenite was.

I personally wouldn't expect him to make a lot of marketing type posts. He seemed to me like a man who's words are few but weighty.

What I do expect from Bruce is significant advancements in back end technology. My take is that the former Senior Producer was more personally involved in "image" direction of EQ2, and especially the front end, design, and graphical sides of the game.

I have all the confidence in the world in the new guy, but don't expect him to post much.

Keep in mind that SoE employees also, from what I gather, had a holiday break, so it's hard to both play catchup and post a lot if you're not slacking on the job

well wasn't Gallenite a technical guy as well? I'm pretty sure before he before he was Senior Producer Gallentie was the Technical director of eq2.

Yeah, he's got 30 titles under his belt. Starting in 1986.
