I hate to say it, but the way WoW does its reuse timer is nice. How it "unshades" in a clock like manner.

true, and I remember Aeralik saying it wasnt an issue on his scout (brig, right?). And since devs aren't playing any mage class it seems, it wont get fixed.

I'd call this my number one grief with the game. It's bad enough trying to rapidly queue wizard spells with TC, but try doing an illusionist or coercer with no dead time, it grows into a nightmare and forces you to babysit the hotbars more than you ought to. And makes it glaringly obvious that the devs either don't play casters or don't play them well.

Conjuror has the same issue. As fast as we cast with spell haste and whatnot, all you do is watch the spell bar, and never the fight. But, as has been already beaten to a pulp, the devs don't play casters, therefore, this will remain unchanged.
