I just did all the solo Fallen Dynasty quests for AA, just mostly run around quests, with no one in zone, some easy AA while lfg. You get some furniture items and that one crafting earring which is nice if you craft.

The free Fallen Dynasty furniture is IMO the best-looking furniture in the game. The Splitpaw shard + evac is immediate at-will access to TS docks. And the best mage power regen item in the game drops in Forsaken City which to this day and to my utter amazement almost nobody farms.

Zero of the "Adventure Packs" held my interest for very long. I did try to go after some of the Monkish titles ("The Fragrant, for my troll) but those damn trials are not only mind-numbingly boring, but also straight up impossible for a defiler to complete solo.

And there aren't enough people willing to group to do it... because for most classes it's easier solo. Except for gimp DPS. Which makes a shitty group.

Anyhow, no, there would have to be some REAL, tangible rewards for me to buy another adventure pack, unless it held some really, really excellent lore.* Tangible rewards like new armor sets (instead of re-hashing the same shit), even if it's just for appearance, maybe new recipes for items that actually help during a raid... items you don't get from standard crafting recipes but not as powerful as raid-class recipes, definitely a useful spell or two even if it's a utility spell like... I dunno... cut the Call Of X spells recast time by half.

SOMETHING that is nifty enough for any and every class to spend some dough on and participate in. Hell, make it really hard with raid-class rewards, make the uberguilds pull their hair out and spend six months trying to beat it.

The LAST thing I'm interested in is running around at 80 killing greys and/or chasing step-and-fetch quests just for a prefix or a title and an illusion spell.

* I'd make an exception for the re-emergence of Grobb and/or any Troll territories, the dungeon of Guk, and some really good evil content.

raid bosses in adventure packs are about the only place mythical items can drop.

We did Nizara every week almost before Kunark. And Chel'drak was pretty much the only raid in the entire game I've been on and actually enjoyed.

The other two adventure packs are just too low level. Splitpaw doesn't give enough achievement to make it worthwhile and Bloodlines is a dungeon at a level nobody wants to group at and also a tier that zooms past.

Still, if they released a fallen dynasty style adventure pack for Kunark, I'd buy it. Why not, it's some extra content and something new to do.

I think all the adventure packs are worth while. Have been through all of them but the last, which I am work on here and there. Even though I do them at a MUCH later level I enjoy the story arcs from these.
