Seems you dont want any kind of compromise in PvP. Exiles have access to all 24 classes, therefore have a much easier time killing PvE mobs, aquiring PvE fabled. Non exiles have the PvP merchant. They also have access to the same raid zones, but in actuallity, not many (if any) can complete raid zones with only one cities classes.
PvP in a level/gear based game is retarded and in essence is the epitome of carebear.

Re: WTB Content.
Common guys, blaming everything on RoK is a bit over the top !!! It has been long long in the making!
DoF came out it sucked so bad, as it was tide in with Lu13 & the area of crafted gear blowing up everything you had worked for in T5; add the master chest screw up and other BS druing that expansion /crap!
Still during DoF lvling was still an effort!
Then came KoS and already here you could grind up to lvl 70 in less then a week! And EoF was the time when gearing up became easy, and you saw "lab trash" run 2 or 3 nights ...
After everyone had gotten geared up and "goodly with relic", EoF came out, with horrible bugged raid zone, and tbh fuck all to do for a lvl 70 player, the EoF instance where jokes and a boring as shit
Tons of guilds were only able to beat Mayong after one of the later nerfs to him (around SF quest time). And the number of guilds who beat Wuoshi on a server are still much lower then guilds who couldn't even get to him.
While others considered most of the eof raids trivial ...
RoK ain't reall that bad imho, or let's say it didn't make the game worse then it already was!
Leveling to max cap in 3-5 day, we had that in EoF already! If one can dedicate a week off form work, no problem at all ...
Raiding, for the 1st time it feels that there are actually not to many bugged raid zones, they are stable & quite lag free and encounters seem to work ... add the fact that zones stay open and available! And it's quite logical that it was beaten quickly!
So imho the problem just didnt come with RoK, it's been with us for a long time now ...
I just hope that SoE brings some fresh wind with Shard of Fear and the epic quest line ... something unique and fresh for once would be great ...

Re: WTB Content.
and thats it, whatever raid content we have left is going to be made available to us through the devs, whats on the adjenda? shard of hate? maybe?
seems like this raid is off the radar, and i doubt 1 raid zone is going to save the game for all the raiders.
As for pvp kaylee, i really dont care if they give exiles pvp gear or not, i stopped playing the game for pvp over a year ago, im saying what motivates people to pvp is pvp gear and since alot of the nagafen t8 population is exile now, they have no reason to want to pvp. the only ones who would are exiled scouts who actually care about having a high title.

Except, easier mobs drop better loot. While VP may be easy, easier mobs still drop better.

Re: WTB Content.
VP is the biggest problem. There's lots more wrong with it than just the loot - some of the encounters are just boring and stupid.
About the loot though, on a personal level, I find myself looking at VP loot and, apart from 2 more pieces of set gear, and 1 item, I don't want a fucking thing from there.
And the 1 piece I want from there is inferior to something I could get from Maiden's if I could be bothered to go in there.

Re: WTB Content.
Why is it this happens with every xpac that comes out. U would think SoE would learn, I guess not.

I think this identifies your problem right here.
When raiding in EQ actually became hard - i.e. more than 72 man vs. dragon - people left in droves for WoW. Most of this is because WoW had just started when Gates of Discord came out, of course. But if you are SOE, how would you take it? We made the raid game challenging and everyone left.
This is why I figure raids in EQ2 are so gay. Maybe SOE figures that they already offer a title that offers hardcore raiding, and if you want to do that, you'll play that title. EQ1 raids just keep getting better and better - Two Gods in Solteris was awesome, for example. EQ2 seems to focus more on 6-man content and advancement for that subset of players. As a result, I doubt the raids will ever get any better in EQ2. It would be nice if Sony just came out and said that, so people can decide which game they really want to play.

Re: WTB Content.
DOF sucked. KOS wasn't too bad with Fallen Dynasty, and EOF was pretty good too..ROK sucks, period.
KOS wasn't too bad though because there was some unique contested for the time, and there was also fallen dynasty.
IMO, they should bring back adventure packs like Splitpaw, Fallen Dynasty, etc. Atleast then it breaks some shit up from the regular expansion.

I never liked the mindset of throwing high numbers of people at raid mobs was considered challenging. IMO its called zerging. If 72 people wasn't enough than get more and try it again!
I don't know if they changed it to a capped number of people eventually because I left a month after Kunark released.....intresting that I am close to quitting now and its the same expansion. At least SoE is consistant.
