To the OP, may be it is time to stop playing eq2.

Basically eq2 raiding got really boring and I can't really bearing going into VP every 5 days and waste my time there. I play an assassin main, so basically it is so fucking boring raiding VP that half the time I am browsing the web. I remeber one fight on Milyx, that I actually went down to my kitchen, made a sandwich and uncorked a bottle of wine, and by the time I came back to my computer I was still at the same spot plucking arrows at the mob. Another thing that really turned me off is to see loot from Phara Dar being transmuted or go for minimum(people hoping that they will boost it). While everyone is using a solo quest necklace of uberness. and some easy ass heroic quest gear.

Beside raiding there isn't a single thing to do beside jumping around Freeport dock, checking the broker for some overpriced masters.

So I decided to check out WoW.
Just started playing WoW 5 days ago. When I first loaded it up I was thinking that the
eq2 graphics are so much better. But once I turn everything up to max without blowing up my computer like eq2, the 2 games started to look quite similar. And after 5 days of playing I hardly notice the graphic difference anymore.

Also I find that their spell/aa(talent) system are a lot better designed than eq2, as it actually allows for different build with in the game. (At least for PVP and low lvl PVE, not sure about the raiding portion yet)

For the first time in a long time, I actually find myself enjoying the game, unlike eq2 where it is purely guild obligation to log in and raid.

So may be it is time to give eq2 a break.

AAs are done better in WoW I'd say. Only problem is if you spec one way you can pretty much only be what you spec for nothing else. Have fun farming on a resto druid

Val, man im sorry put your e-pen back in your pants man I cancelled my account already dude. I guess you cant read or dont pay attention, neither of which really matters. Fail. Id love for soe or someone to make this game into 30% of its potential compared to whats going on. Maybe a public whine fest can make it happen, just like every other change to the game before now. I guess your a little to narrow sighted, or just love to be a jerkass both of which are fine with me.

The first step to fixing a problem is admitting you have one. Soe needs to wisen up or own all the defunct mmo's of the industry its their choice.

It's not narrow sight, just my narrow urethra that makes me a jerkass.

I would take the time and look over your previous post to see which one of us possesses narrow sight. Bitch and moan all you want, Upper management isn't going supplement the EQ2 staff just because your E-tears are splashing the screen.

They've already admitted the problem. Why else do you see devs so active in the community? What your looking for is a letter of apology for wasting 3 years of your life. Sorry not gonna happen.

nah i enjoyed them pretty well the last 3 years, for me eq2 is a hobby , im sure for someone as hard core as you to stay around the community as long as you have though... Try harder besides shouldnt you be ripping the op instead of me? zzzzzzzzzzzz

Join Date: 05-10-2007 maybe you consider that a long time, idk. Until I quit MMOs completely I'll always hang around flames. There really isn't another site that compares, and it's only a matter of time before LFG brakes down and gives us a good WoW section.

WoW is so much better. Ramp used to speak the gospel to me a long time ago before I saw the light. Now I see it and am happy :P

Really everyone give up on eq2. Every expansion its the same shit. I mean I hate to say it but you will NEVER get what you want. You see the same posts each time around. Its just sad to see nothings changed.

I'd quit if I wasn't leader of a T5 guild. Not like we killed much yet but not going to let all those people down.
