Nah these people put important emphasis on points I wanted to make, but as seen made already. I think alot of people should re-read these posts as it reflects many peoples feelings. As far as my belligerence goes dont worry your pretty little pig tails about that. I am sure in a couple of months you will be playing world of warcraft anyway.

So far it seems a rinse and repeat problem from sony expansion after expansion. And as usual to fix it will cause many many more problems, just like before. I guess we should all just pray they do a little better this time when the nerf bat comes out. Or better yet I hope they let the legendary, treasured crowd feel the squeeze and nerf the living hell out of their uber easy to get uber gear. Then you all can reflect on the risk vs reward discussion the rest of us have been having.

1) Majority of EQ2 community is not made of raiders.

2) Why do I have an account? Because I play casually and go on a Kunark raid perhaps once a month. I am here for the community which is on my friends list and guild roster. Not here to get X item to be the best. Am here to help my friends work to the point they have accomplished much; and casual players are generally the ones who finish more than the raiders. Casual players work on the long quests to gain amazing X item. Raiders don't carry that so extensively as they earn their X amazing item from killing a single mob. Yes, that is rash of me to say; once again, epitimizes how every MMO is right now.

3) EQ1 is not the same as EQ2; even though most games have evolved from EQ1 the concepts and ideas of raiding in EQ2 is greatly different with the same ideal ending.

4) Casual players are finally given a ground to stand a near equal footing to the raiders; raiders are crying out, "Make us unique so we can show we're better by gear!" There are people with the proper knowledge and mediocre gear who can compete in any parse with treasured RoK items. Casual players make up the greater community. There are usually a max of three top end raid guilds, with a smattering of "wish we were raiding at that level guilds" surrounded by casual play guilds. EG. - All Other MMO's Is Just Like This.

You guys want Fabled to be better, step up to the people who develop this game with ideas that you can come together and say you agree upon as a whole. You have a better system for items? Get some people (15 or 500) who can write a well stated petition.

I've been in the raider shoes for over 12 years in games before they were officially dubbed "MMO's". You want to earn something, learn to do it without crying or complaining so much SOE is given no choice.

Effect the community in a positive fashion for once and get all your brains together to actually form a realistic and working petition with all of your expertise on each class, and how You understand gear to work for each class.

Get 500 people behind it. Get 5,000 people behind it.

I will concede this, but I was and should have been more specific as to this board, and not in particular eq2.

Uh... I can not speak for most, so Ill just speak for myself Ive finished every major quest line, collection quest, hq, signature, and hallmark in game to date. I have also ground out 80 levels, as a sk, provisioner and tinkerer. Prismatic 1 when I was 50, godking when I was 60, claymore when I was 70, and sod when I was 70... I am also flagged for every raid zone upto tier 2 in rok from febuary after launch till now. I did the class, and sublcass quests, the citizenship quests... Ok but casual players do more of that right? I ran out of quests to do thank you. Thats why I am on the bitch train about the last thing left for me to do in game except roleplay and play pretend with alot of other casual players. We all choose how to play, and thats fine. I dont wish a nerf on you guys, I just want them to fix my game where I play so that I have as much fun as you. Maybe I came across wrong, or am just to pissed off. Now that I am done bleeding on this page.. we can move on.

No joke? But when your talking about raiding, the casual player essentially breaks the game for us with all the please spoon feed me the game mentality. Their has got to be a peaceful co-existence in eq2 for this. In wow their is some raiding, and pvp and lots of solo bs. Eq2 only has pvp on 2 servers that count, and even at that its a total after thought filled with its own issues for another thread. Which leaves nothing for the high end, or end game, or raiders wtf ever you want to call it to do. Eq2 simply lacks the balance. In this case on the pve servers crap epic encounters and crap loot, with a crap ruleset.

Casual players should never stand on the same ground as raiders. Sounds elitist I know, but as at the moment I dont raid I can say this. You should have to step up past the spood feeding of already chewed morsels of game to have to know your class exceptionally and to know those around you just as well. For me it is not give me better gear so I am uniuqe compared to a casual player, its more like give me a proper reward for playing x hours, dieing x times, and being dedicated to 24 other people doing the same to get the job done. Risk vs reward. No joke casual players make the majority of the game I wont debate this. But keep in mind you guys have gotten dof, kos, eof, and now rok, Do we have your permission to ask soe if we can get better raid content in an expansion with better risk vs reward? I mean god forbid you dont get another Alt expansion like Eof or a Im so uber lets solo 10 levels in 2 days solo expansion. Yea thats retarded ty.

Do you read much or just post radomly? I mean pay attention their are atleast 4-5 active threads dealing with all the same issues from 5 differnt point of views. We have done everything but en masse cancel accounts or hire a lawyer and make some kind of class action lawsuit to make the news. I think though both of these would kind of screw the game and the namesake, both of which would only compound the issues. I dont think you read many posts on this board many of us /bugreport, are guides, /petition, post on the soe boards, and here Pay the hell attention we are calling for exactly what this post says.

ROFL. Ok mr raider shoes. I was on the internets in 1987 in Kidnergarden on pclink, I used a 2400 baud modem, and operated off of 2 360k 5" floppy drives , it was a 8086 turbo 8mhz I played mmo's back then too, and you know what I got great loot for the risk involved again the issue which we are talking about. Meantime your crew in casual land gets basicly fabled gear for blowing 30 mins in coa, 30 mins in voes, and 45 mins in maidens, and an hour in chelsith. Seems balanced that most raiders dedicate 3-7 days a week in 4-6 hour blocks to get gear they will transmute. Yep balanced lets call it a day...
