No, you just wish he contradicted himself.

Aren't Raids harder than heroic instances? I'm not contradicting myself at all.

Which would deserve more of a reward, getting 23 other people as difficult as you are coordinated to do the same thing or 5 others? You're impossible as it is. A raid full of argumentative folks like you would wipe to a grey epic. (Just be glad that friendly fire doesn't happen in this game.)

OK people needs to stop with this risk vs reward thing because it's not just that. If you're a sorry ass player, you would have the same risk of dying in a grp instance compare to a raider in a raid. What "hardcore" raiders really want is accomplishment vs rewards. The harder a mob is to kill, the better the reward should be. If EQ2 follow that formula then there wouldn't be anybody bitching.

IMO group instances loot should NEVER be better than raid loot. Lets say there is a crazy grp instance where a grp with shit gear can never complete. There's also weak ass x4 epic mob that any non-retards raid can kill and probably 8-9 men by any leetsauce guild. I would still think the epic should drop better gear since it required a full raid of people with shit gear. The fact that you can take 24 people to kill that mob should be taken into account.

No soloing is harder than both groups and raiding because if you go afk soloing you die while if you are in group or raid they can carry a afk person. (Yes, someone used this argument on eq2 main boards)

TBH, I agree with your 1st comment, but your 2nd comment I dunno. I think that some gear can drop off heroics that is insanely powerful, however the difference between the rarest of rare heroic gear(see Bloodthirsty Choker and Vzeesrit's[sic] Sash of Draining) should have them some they are only slightly more powerful than the top quality instanced raid drops. That being, contested raid mobs should drop loot that is equal to or better than this heroic gear. That being, I think there needs to be a Bloodthirsty Choker item that instead of 5% deals 2.5% per CA/Spell you use that drops off Avatars.

*eye twitches* ... ouch.

Someone else said it best, though, "difficulty vs. reward" is probably the better description.

OK... since we're snipe hunting at this point... who's the fuckstick that DOES NOT think that raid phatz should be better for raiders WHILE RAIDING than single group or solo lewts?...

*crickets chirping*
*a retard or two piping up about how they like icecream and we should laugh at them because they are dumb*

...alright moving on.
