For the record Pinky, I don't think "all loot drops" are anywhere near fine; case in point is the total fucking lopsided delivery of mage and scout gear and the grievous lack of healer chain and plate.

Lol you can philosophize and speak in half ass riddles and try and be...mysterious is that what your going for? Never really was sure what your aim is on these boards but.....asking for 55 stat on an item has no effect at all. 55 stats on a fabled piece of tier 8 gear is exactly on par with where it should be. The problem id /gasp well fuck its the diminishing returns and/or stat cap. Guess what, i gained 150 int already this xpac, guess what it did? not a fucking thing. They could revamp all the fabled gear to 200 of the common stat, all mage gear could have 200 int, on every piece, and guess what.....except that repair bills would cost a bit more, and you would be at cap with less pieces....your damage output would be the exact fucking same. Diminishing returns is a stupid fuckign mechanic.

PS: To whatever retard fuck thinks SCOUTS of all the classes have some sort of amazing gear choices out there please go get your fucking head examined. Better yet /wrists and have someone with a clue, the coroner, do it himself.

The point is simple first off most heroic instances drop better loot then ANY raid zone sure this has been a problem before but the problem has always been 1-2 items not pretty much your entire freaking set of items. Yes raid items SHOULD be way better then heroic that is simple, I can clear a heroic zone in my sleep, raid zones require way more work and way more skill to clear.

And to the person that made some post about how WoW has better raid encounters then eq2, wtf are you smoking? You apperantly have never raided WoW at the high end, WoW raid encouters are EXACTLY like what RoK added to the game now. Sony went the "WoW" way with raid mobs, i.e. very scripted, pretty easy. At least t2 offers some sort of difficulty still, don't ask them to get like blizzard or every tome dick and harry will be clearing raids like WoW and that is not cool.

And just to throw this out there epics better be freaking awsome, Currently the best weapon for me to use as a chanter drops in freaking unrest a zone I can pretty much solo now. Itemezation in rok FTL!

i knew there would be a drove of butthurt soloers and heroic instance raiders who would swarm this thread, decrying my call for a nerf on legendary gear. guess what guys? YOUR LEGENDARY LOOT IS TOO GOOD. there is zip, zero, zilch challenge in running through any heroic T8 content, even the hardest of it, with a few (3-4) players and RoK legendary gear. even the guys clearing the hardest epic content in the game are choosing to wear this legendary gear over top of the T8 fabled. know why? it's not cause the fabled sucks, it's because the legendary stuff is overpowered relative to the difficulty in obtaining it and the effect it has on your character's performance. you can have your little cryfests all you want about raiders calling for nerfs, but when those nerfs are merited they will be asked for.

the T8 fabled is not too far off where it needs to be. it definitely needs some tweaks, but it doesnt need an across the board upgrade. massively upgrading it would then throw all of the epic encounters out of whack from a balance perspective. when guilds can breeze through the hardest of epic zones in legendary gear and AD3's, THAT is the part of itemization that needs to be looked at.

bottom line: there's no challenge in T8. solo mobs are a complete joke, you probably can't even die to them if you fight naked. heroic content is retardedly easy. epic content is poorly designed and is also far too easy. the faulty itemization is at the very core of all of this.

well where shoudl discuss this. Lets see all this wonderful mage gear you speak of. hmm, we have 2 good set pieces, there is a good robe, a good pair of bracers and...... a decent weapon. And this "wonderful" scout gear you speak of....lols you really are in dire need of a clue. Just because you keep seeing gear marked "mage only" and "scout only" does not mean its good fucking gear. Just because you cant wear it, doesnt mean anyone else wants too. show me your ideas of all these amazing scout and mage drops, ill show you there counterpart of fighter and priest lewt. Cry about being a cleric and haveing to wear chain or leather. Shoudl try being forced to only 1 type of armour.
