I am highly impressed the art work is truely amazing!!! Very finished! I was impressed with the artwork from FD and I am even more so with EoF!

I created a fae and you the variarity you can create is great!!! you can make everything from all Black to Neutrals to bright and girly ( the last BLAH! )!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't even begun to explore all the areas. Went to New Tunara last nite and BEAUTIFUL!!! Butcherblock Moutains actually has the feel of being int he mountains with new "dangers" all over the place. This Xpac doesn't seem to be cookie cutter like KOS. I believe SOE actually learned from this.

I give this Xpac a double thumbs up!

Finished Clockwork Menace factory tonight was a fun fight and good for a starter raid imo. Easier than Freethinkers like it should be.

i like the new expansion, loping plains is annoying as hell with all the stuns roots and snares the green mobs have.. and i hate running stealth through stuff.. the pumpkinhead horseman is pretty rough encounter we tried him first day it came out but we arent a hard core raid guild.

the raid content seems different and challenging right now. and they did put in a bit of progression. but sadly these combat changes makes some mobs almost unbeatable and a bunch of stuff needs to be adjusted.
they need to make more raid zones like emerald halls. from my first impressions alone it has to be the best eq2 raid zone.

I'm having fun in EoF, and I especially like the new system of adornments they put in.

We added a page with screenshots of all the T7 adornments that can be made by the various tradeskill classes here: T7 Adornments by Tradeskill Class

I've been making various adornments on my crafters for my main and alts. I'm basically curious to see how high I can get HP on my alt SK Ixnay, and HP and power on LFG.

This is Ixnay's persona screen, self buffed only, no potions or funny stuff, with about half his adornments complete:

So far I have LFG at about 8500 HP, with 7800 power, self buffed. I should be able to finish him tomorrow, and I'll post a screen then.

I haven't had any equipment upgrades since EoF - these adornments alone are huge upgrades.

Ishbu has his alt Sarcasmo (a scout) up around 8900 hp lol, he can well over 9k with just a few more adornments.

I haven't been posting much in the past week since I've been spending virtually all of my free time in game. As I reported here, I'm getting rich on transmuting:

http://www.eq2flames.com/showpost.ph...8&postcount=10

I've made more in transmuting sales over the past week than in my total history crafting in EQ2 since Nov. 2004, and I've always been a high volume seller with multiple crafters.

In addition to that, I've been raiding with my guild daily and trying to get achievement points, but I do agree I've been slacking in that department. At 68 achievement points, I think mine are the lowest in my guild.

IMO, EoF owns, and is the best product SoE has ever released. It's fun from a lot of different angles. Sure, it needs some work, and many things about the new crafting system especially are out of whack and need rethinking and tuning. But this time, like never before, the design is in place, a decent amount of very good loot is dropping, and many of the raid encounters seem very challenging, and I feel like I'll have fun redoing them next week after beating them this week.

For you guys that quit EQ2, you should come back and give it another try. I think the EoF content will last and keep me busy for 6+ months this time. I feel like I'm really far behind already and wish I had more time because there is so much more I need to do, and I really haven't gotten very far yet at all. I haven't even done a HQ yet.

"Getting rich"? Weren't you already rich, even with eleventy billion alts to outfit?

Glad you're enjoying the xpac. Hope it does keep you busy for 6+ months.

What's the status of the big raids, anyway? All dead? None dead? Who killed 'em and who got the "significant" firsts?

I'm not too fond of the new dirge AA line yet but that'll come in time. Mistmoore seems cool haven't checked out Obelisk. And... no raid for Kuri cause some fag named Gauge has my spot!

Other than that, it's not the usual piece of shit SOE release.
