Our issue is that this is a workaround that should be addressed and fixed. This is something that people have asked for since xp locking has existed. Exp lock should = ALL exp locked. On PvE. I couldn't give a fuck less what happens on PvP.

They should add a feature to characters that allow to select what content your toon has access to.

Check boxes for lvl 50, 60, 70, 80. If you only check box 50 you only have access to T5 and do not have access to AA's. Check 60 and you get DOF and 50 aa's. Check 70 and you get 50 more AA's and Kos, etc

Actually, if you check 60 you should get 0 AAs, and there should be 2 options for 70, 50 or 100 AAs which unlock 1 or 2 trees depending on your choice.

I have no problem with full XP locks on PVE servers.

But I don't see how they can just do this on PVE without it also impacting PVP. If they can, fine. But in my strong opinion, level lockers severely retarded the growth of PVP in EQ2 by chasing away all the noobs who wanted to try it out.

So I'm against any level locking that will change the current situation on PVP servers. If they want to code PVP and PVE separately for locking, I have no problem with that.

They should allow a clickie box when you create your character. You can ADD checks to it as you progress, but cannot take them away.

If you chose 50/0, then leveling locking provides no bonus on PvP.
If you chose 60/0, again, ZERO benefit for PvP.
The next options are
70/50 for only KoS content, and ONLY the class tree.
70/100 for KoS, and EoF, and contains both trees.
Of course you can always "Select All" and enjoy RoK, 80/140, and killing everyone. This COMPLETELY negates any PvP benefit from locking, and it creates a stable way for people to enjoy the earlier content, so as to not feel bullied into the new shit.
