Can YOU be a bigger retard? It derives from cognitively impaired individuals being called "Mentally retarded" for the longest time. They were dubbed retarded for short, and eventually, the name became retard. Besides that, were idiot, moron, and other terms that described the degree of mental retardation.

They are called "retards" because people threw a name at them out of a lack of understanding what their condition actually means. The name hasn't "become" retard, its what people use as a derogatory term to describe someone who is mentally retarded. Anything else you need me to clear up for you? I mean, it is your duty to troll the forum trying to start shit, at the very least you should do your homework.
