You what? lol...

Even when we/you where ten levels lower why on earth would you need to use City Merchant AOE avoid item?

Especially once the head throw was nerfed out of the encounter and made that fight even more ridiculously easy.

To make it a total gimp of an encounter, instead of only a slighty-gimp encounter. Then again, once lag was fixed and you could get a full raid on, it would die before the first pumpkins.

When I first did the encounter, I think we got WW3rd on it or something. Not a big deal, but the AOE avoid item did make things easier then. I understand the encounter changed since then, and I stopped using the items before the end of EOF, because everything seemed trivial then.

2nd actually, and yeah, completely trivialized the encounter. Where as the guilds that were too good for the signets didn't kill it until the next day

1. Dissolution. No, not that one. The one on befallen.
2. Second Dawn - Kithicor. They got a GM in their pocket who will root anybody else trying to pull their avatar ... there can be no contest there.

No one else deserves to be named here.

PHH at lvl 80 is killable before he AEs at the tree. So that is a non-issue. We also don't use AE signets at all in RoK.

The city power items can be replaced easily with a few power roots anyone can get.
