matin will never, ever, ever, get into Kraken. ever. even if he was one of only a handful of players on the server who played the one class in the game that suddenly became incredibly overpowered through some weird dev oversight, we would not invite him.

and yes, i dunno what this venekor dude is talking about. the worst thing that happens on pvp servers is your stragglers get picked off by random PvP on their way to the raid. there aren't groups/raids standing by to block instances, lol.

contested is a whole different story though. =)

Only thing we have to work off of for best guilds for RoK is VP progression and this is how it would be.

The order might change a bit if you wanted to count AoM. Because I remember a lot of these guilds having trouble with him.

I'm quite certain Second Dawn and Strike cleared VP before Aftermath. Also, I couldn't possibly include Aftermath in a top 5 ranking purely on the basis of their 5'th group exploit of Bristlebane. When a guild so egregiously exploits like that, it 1) calls into question the legitimacy of all their kills (note that I stop short of saying it completely invalidates them), and 2) severely diminishes their respectability as a raiding guild, respectability being in my mind a significant factor in judging who is top.

Since when does clearing VP first make you good? The zone is easy and the only challenge was ignoring your family during Thanksgiving.

5. Paradigm

Longevity > clearing VP. I'd probably put Fable (Splitpaw) next, they don't get the credit they deserve.

I don't think longevity counts for much, rosters are constantly changing. What you did in EoF, says nothing about your progression through RoK. New expansion = New rankings.

What was the most recent greatest achievment? IMO AoM was a lot harder than any vp mob before the nerf. Last I checked there were only 2 guilds that killed AoM in its "pre-nerfed" state with only 4 groups. NPU and Paradigm were the only guilds and will be the only guilds that killed AoM in that fashion.

What does this have in common?

NPU and Paradigm were the first 2 guilds to kill Phara. Hmmmm interesting. I see a pattern here and you are either blind, retarded or stubborn if you dont recognize it.

Either way, the true tests are yet to come and I look forward to it.
