I agree it's unavoidable, and it happens every time there are more than 3 people trying to sell the products of a tradeskill class in the market.

The worst I ever saw was T7 provisioning - at its worst, and still to this day on my server, you can buy food and drink for much less than the cost of raws and fuel. Lol, I have a 70 prov and I buy my food and drink on the market because that is cheaper than making it myself.

That's why common sense also dictates being first to market, selling profitably for as long as possible, taking the lion's share of profit from the market before the undercutters arrive, then dropping the market on the undercutters with a bomb by lowering prices on my remaining inventory to cost while I'm exiting the market. And then they can fight over the bones and play the losing battle of trying to sell things at cost or just a tiny profit.

BTW, with all the plat I made this expansion on transmuting (600+ p over and above my investment in leveling), I never charged more than a 33% markup, approximately. I don't do gouging, my forte is assembly line production and massive volume sales at fair prices - it's all about inventory turns

Ya, I'd rather clean my bathroom than have to check the broker every hour and constantly be lowering prices on 150+ items by a silver or two each time.

So I see undercutting as a fact of life, and as the common sense signal to get out of that market for the rest of the expansion.

I definitely thought so. Put it on Wand of the Tempest and you have the best power regen item in the game (~FT75 based on item desc.). The only real limiter to the customer base is that most mages are limited to the Wand of Second Life, which can't be adorned.
I hotkey these in and out for deagro and power:

The melee power procs give more than three times the power over the caster procs. I'm usually in close enough to hit the mob (with exceptions, of course). But with 240 average power per minute, the legendary melee adornment completely owns the 85 power per minute from the fabled caster adornment.

I chose the deagro proc from hostile spells over heal spells because I cast more hostile spells per minute than heal spells.
