me i have to build my reet faction which i started at 15k, beg 5 people who probably want to do thier OWN fuckin epics to help me kill shit in Sebelis for 5k an update (need 40K). Then HOPE to god this group of 5 people who still probably want to get back to thier own quest. Will take me fuckin ass down to the end of fuckin sebelis for an update. THEN ... AND THEN hopefully to persuade these guys to help me collect gems or some shit from mobs around that area of sebelis.

and this is like the first part of the quest if you don't count finding the fuckin quest starter and then heading back to qeynos to talk to some cunt in NQ. while shes on like step fuckin 4 or 5.

I've had to run to fp as an illusionist about 6 or 7 times now for my epic, and our guilds fury finished his in an afternoon.

I don't think anyone would mind the time if everyone was spending about the same

I will be happy to even be able to start mine... just need to wait a few more hours for my Chelsith timer to be up to try again for a rare drop from a random spawned named that might or might not drop it. Wish me luck.

I see EQ2 devs still haven't mastered the basic human art of communication, heaven forbid you learn from the past (t6-t7) and see the shit that happens when you don't fucking talk to one another.

Fury epic is a joke, Defiler epic is bottlenecked, some epics require 2 old old HQ's, and some require none!

thanks for balance, the devs in this game must all lopsided in real life since they have a consistent track record for being way off in even moderately equalizing anything

The problem is, they are balanced. Just the way they are balanced is depending on which dev did them. All the Ones by dev X are balanced against each other, and so on.

Then you get to the Bard, Illusionist epics, and you realize. Vhalen, you sneaky dog, you had to go and make the hardest epics possible.

I am really surprised to read some of the walkthroughs of "epics". I honestly thought that it would be like the Claymore line .... except longer.

Maybe start in older zones Unrest, MMCastle and what not Doing 5-6 little bullshit quests, then move to Kylong for a few solo quests, then to KC for more and so on and so forth till you get to sebelis.

so that when you get done you have done basically 40-50 some odd quests/steps.

I mean the most trouble my fiance had was Iron/jade golems in City of Mist, that was probably the hardest/tedious part. And all that took was getting a full group together and about an hour and a half.

if you think im talking about making my quest easy .. you're wrong. I want balance If guardians need to do prereqs like BBC or Screaming Mace i think all should do something like that. I just don't like the fact that my fiance can fly through her quest like nothing while im struggling to do mine.

Different devs worked on different quests, it was already said the difficulty wouldn't be balanced. You guys are coming to conclusions awfully fast, the epic quests are not done, you have only seen the intermediate reward that only requires a group. They aren't going to give amazing, game changing weapons for quests that any group of 80s can do - that is saved for the final epic.
