Do you even understand the difference between challenging / hard and stupid ?
They could have made them drop off mobs in the very bottom of seb ..names which are hard to spawn and hard to farm and hence = challenging.
Instead they made them drop off mobs i have no means of killing to get them from ..is that fucking clear enough for you now, dumb cunt ?

Jesus h fucking christ you people are fucking mornons, "stop crying" WTF is wrong with you, Its a quest you can only get at lvl 80 and it requires shit that wont drop for a lvl 80. This would be the first quest in EQ2 history that actualy requires you to mentor if you have any plans in doing it, gues what, FUCKING STUPID.

Although there was a starter to SoD that required you to do some ring in wailing caves yet it still ended up with green con mobs in the end.

HQ is easily soloable even with everything grey and all 3 robes are doable when mentored to 70.

how hard is it to find someone in your guild with a L70 alt and let them mentor you for a bit? i mean seriously, you make it sound like NO ONE has L70's alts lying around from pre-RoK that they havent levelled to 80 yet.

Why should you HAVE to, for a quest you need to be level 80 to begin???

Warlocks have to harvest 6 mantrap roots, and 10 smoldering materials.

HARVEST, buying them does not give updates.

So this = dicking around with the random number generator.
Some people will get this shit in a handful of hours, others like myself will harvest with 400 skill and a 50% runspeed mount + invis to get around....and do it for 6 hours so far with 1 fucking update out of 16.

This isnt a challenge of any sort, this isnt epic, this isn't fun, it's just a mindless fucking tim sink based on nothing but luck.
