As someone else pointed out the got a chest drop off a gray mob, when I get home and have the time to look it up one of the lu's changed it so that you will get a quest update off a gray mob even if it drops from a chest.

Anyone care to answer this, or have you even tried? Yes, i agree this quest sounds rather stupid, but at least try before you start popping blood vessels over something that MAY not even be an issue. Or is it confirmed that it won't drop?

In some cases these are LEGENDARY chest drops off of GREY named that are in instances with 24 hour timers OR 2 hour long respawn Ring Events in outdoor zones that every other Brigand will be clawing each others eyes out for on the off chance that the robe they need will drop.

These are NOT body drops, they are tradeable and in 2 cases Legendary drops.

Every farmer and or Brigand are going to be going at each others throats to get these drops so our options are too: Kill steal and camp this crap while mentored down or... pay the 100+ platinum that these robes are now going for on the broker.

Really balanced eh?

guardians need to do 2 extremely grey HQ's as well... im sure a lot of other classes have to do grey content. it's about the flavor, the lore... something building into the questline. you guys are arguing about "having" to go back and complete old content.. well so what?

if you thought of this EPIC questline as a STORY that you were moving through, and not something just to grind out in 8 hours and receive some phatty loots, you'd realize why some old content is required.

I did the BBC and Screaming Mace when it was all grey to me. I don't mind doing HQ's that only require kill updates/rare harvests/shiney's. I also don't mind going and doing old content, visiting places I haven't been in years etc. That part is fun.

Like I said, I LOVE seeing the ole hunting grounds and I don't expect this to be handed to me on a silver platter. What I DO Mind is camping a 2 hour long conested Heroic Spawn that is GREY to me for a semi-rare Legendary chest drop that 246546125 other Brigands are fighting for at the same time.
