    Default When did this happen?

I started playing shortly after Eq2's launch. Played all the way until shortly after KOS released, when I took a break for 8 months. Played on again off again shortly after EoF came out, and then came back fully shortly before RoK launched. Now, I went to play my low level druid to get him some ports, and found that several of the HQ's have been WoW'ed. Not sure if the rumor I heard about every named for GLS is now perma spawned, but the fact that every one I needed was up when I did it on this toon supports that. And you don't even need the access quest for Maulic's anymore? Then I do DWB, and instead of 100 irons and 100 maples (at 1 resource per harvest, if you get one), you only need 15?? and that could be as fast as an excellent harvest (10 resources) and a good harvest (5 resources). WTF? Are all the HQ's, or even the longer quests, this easy now? Should I expect that for JBoots all I have to do is look at the bell in QH now?
If anyone knows a server where some of the old school rules still applied let me know. I miss the quests that were intended to be tough, the crafting that was actually profitable, and not listening to people bitch about being out of vitality.

It may be solofied but even most of the people on this board who claims they are hardcore complained constantly about camping.

Me personally I liked the old eq1 style 8 hour named camps. One of the biggest problems with MMo's are the hardcore people who were never really hardcore.
Hardcore is spending 2 hours each day before and after raids farming masters off the same 6 named spawns in KC to get fully mastered in 3 months. Most people in eq2 are not hardcore. Most people just complain how everything is to easy and then complain when anything is to hard.

    This is a great quote:

    From Gungo:
Most people in eq2 are not hardcore. Most people just complain how everything is to easy and then complain when anything is to hard.
Personally, I think this is exactly correct. Farming 100 harvestable woods isn't hard, it's just tedious. Is 100 'harder' to get than 15...sure. Is getting a lvl 30 or whatever reward the same now with lvl 80's running around then when it was implemented....of course not.

Heck, they are adding a cure button to cure curses, and you'd think they were forcing ritual suicide. Apparently, 4 cures is the threshold of skill, and adding one more is way over the top.

Ahh MMOs, where the term "hardcore" has absolutely no relevance to skill.

I'm sorry that you and your fellow fucking retards miss the intrigue and challenge and accomplishment of running around spam clicking static nodes for hours. If that's what you care most about, might I recommend playing a troubador.

I enjoyed the challenge of the old school HQs.

But for god sake's, hardly anyone does them anymore. When I'm taking an alt through the low level areas, I'm lucky to find one other person to help me with quests. Most groups pre 60, just want to do the dungeons.

So...either they leave the HQs as they used to be and nobody does them...or they make them soloable so those of who enjoy them can still do them.

It's the joys of a level based system. In the old days, you could put up a LFG for XX HQ and get like 50 tells. Now, people only worry about doing t8 quests like their epic.

Typical reponse from a non healer...non raider. Roll up a healer and go make a couple pulls on raid content (especially avatars) and tell me we need another fucken cure. :41:
