SoE fixed FPS issue in todays hotfix at 2PM PST?

logged in, my FPS was double what it normally has been since the FPS indicator was added. reason being??? cuz it sucked ass before but only since the last update

I was wondering what was going on with my FPS after the update, same deal was a good bit slower than usual, even with low settings in raid. Now if they would just add dual core support that would rock.

yeah i've had some problems with anti-aliasing after last LU, gonna check how it works now.

I guess now that we can all see for real how poorly optimized this game is they decided to do something about it?

I hope this is a good fix. was running about 10-15 last night on extreme graphics after doing some oc work on my video card's. *crosses fingers* now if it gets to about 20....that could be very cool.

not really dude. my FPS was doing fine before the update. then lu 42 hit and they fucked it up something aweful (memory errors me thinks). i had to stop work on my monk non raid epic walkthrough for a few days because i just couldnt load flames and eq2 at the same time, let alone deal with constant database errors from ppl swarming in to look for info on epics. now though i can have it up again while running windows media player, ACT, and vent, while raiding (like i used to). i think there is a high likelyhood that in the comming weeks we are going to see a lot more of this type of complaint though, now that there is a built in feature that lets us view preformance statistics. i wonder if they will ever fix the packet loss spike issues that have been constant every 5-10 minutes for me since RoK launch, which in the passed were more like every 30 min- 1 hour before =/

what makes you think soe programmed the FPS indicator correctly. Using a third party FPS indicator people get a completely different set of numbers.

yeah their fps indicator is way too slow, fraps ftw.
