Gnobrin bans people in the official forums for unwritten forum rules

Hmm.... I don't think so. I quite bluntly called out one of the developers recently concerning an issue, and was rather succinct in my accusation against him. And *gasp* I didn't get banned, or even warned. Not once have I been warned, despite the fact that the majority of my posts are quite negative of SOE. Therefore, your post is false. Were your post true, I'd have been banned years ago.

At least you were given a reason. I've been banned twice in the past two weeks now, both times Gnobrin failed to give any detailed reason as to why I was banned. "Excessive negativity" has been cited twice now, that's it.

Update-

Shortly after writing this post, I logged into the EQ2 forums to find myself banned AGAIN. This time 2 weeks.

No explanation given like before, except for "excessive negativity" being the only reason given. Looks like Gnobrin is keeping up with the EQ2 flames forums as well, and then getting revenge on his own forums.

This type of abuse has got to stop. I will be contacting CS tomorrow in an attempt to get in touch with his supervisor. I'm sure after the supervisor reviews my posting history, he'll agree that Gnobrin is going completely overboard here.

Don't bother, they tell you to contact Gnobrin.

You can't even get an email address to his supervisor or head of department from any of the limited customer service avenues available to you when banned. Atleast I am still oh for through petition and calling.

Lets hope you get one that will look at the facts. Half the time it seems they don't bother and just defend their own. That is assuming they don't tell you to just contact Gnobrin.
