He isn't complaining about AA respecs dropping buffs... He's complaining that an item that respecs your AA's acts like an AA respec and drops all your buffs.

Because you're still respecing your AAs. Whether it's by wiping them all out, or not. You're still wiping them out. He's complaining that AA respecs drops your buff, because that's all the mirror is. A Free AA Respec, except it also does all the clicking for you.

The OP seems to have no problem with AA respecs that are purchased from the NPC dropping your buffs. Evidence of this is that prior to the mirrors, he wasn't bitching. All of a sudden now, with this mirror that grants "free respecs," the shit is hitting the fan as far as he is concerned, because it dropped his buffs 2-4 times a day.

I'm saying suck it up, it costs you a couple buffs for a very convenient and cost effective addition to gameplay.

I don't see why the mirror has to drop buffs that are not AA related. I guess its easier to strip all buffs than identify what's relevant and what isn't.

Correct, it's the "easy" way out if you will.

Taking the time to identify what is relevant and what isn't would pay off in the long run, meaning players who use their mirrors often don't have to worry about losing buffs that either cost a lot of money, or buffs they will not be able to use again after the mirror.

It sucks using this and losing 12 hour poisons that still 75 procs or more on them I think this is what Kruhl is talking about. That and since he pvps alot he uses totems of the Cat, and Chokidai. It's really not that hard to fix it where it doesn't strip buffs that aren't class or AA buffs.

Honestly this is a decent suggestion of something to fix, simply because it shouldn't that much work and its a reasonable thing to ask for. Striping poisons, totem buffs, and potions are not things effected by aa at all. While not a top on the fix it list, it would be nice.

It has to strip buffs that aren't AA, because there's many AAs that enhance existing buffs. As for poisons and tinkered items, they should probably fall into the food/drink category. But imo buffs need to go, or we're basically just waiting for an exploit.
