Between stuff like this and the web petition, I think they're downsizing the GM department.
Wow, there aren't many GMs as it is. I hope that isn't true.

the GM's in this game have got to be the most retarded lazy POS's on the intraweb. I got all my junk items transmuted and had enough for the legendary DPS mod attachment on my neck peice. So as soon as i zone the attachment dissapears off my item. So I petition and tell them exactly what happened, and I get a reply telling me they acknowledge the fact that i put the adornment on my item but that the item was working as intended so they couldn't help me. I'm by no means a rich player so I couldn't really afford to get all that shit to transmute again, so I ask them why on earth would they make a legendary t7 adornment that costs alot of transmuting mats which dissapears as soon as you zone. I basically asked why the augment is working as intended now and dissapearing from my item when in Beta it was permanent.

And I get another GM telling me that they did more investigating, and that they needed to log onto my account to verify if i was telling the truth. All this happened about a week ago and I just got my DPS mod neck back a few days ago after starting a new petition asking what happened. It's funny because this happened to two other people who also bought the augment and only one other one got it back. So I let them log into my account all checks out and they say they'll contact me when the items fixed for reimbursement. That didn't happen.

The GM support in this game is so hit and miss it sucks. Sorry for your loss but unless you keep petitioning and find a GM who gives a shit you won't get your stuff back

I'm giving EoF an 8 on a scale of 10 so far. It's not perfect, but IMO it's much better than any previous SoE product I've played.

Come play.

Still boggles me why some of the treasured imbues are so overpowered =p.

I'll agree with that. Definately a lower-than-usual bug factor.

You can't judge the expansion on whether tradeskills are messed up. Trust me, that is the road to insanity

I love the concept and design of the new adornment system, and love the fact that this is finally something for hardcore crafters and not woosies.

I agree that some of the execution and design of specific tradeskill items, and how things were spread out between classes, leaves something to be desired.

The adventure content, I think, is superb compared to previous releases of EQ2.

And Tradeskills are actually in pretty good shape, overall, when you look at things like no T5 recipes in the game when we all hit T5 and the Advanced Carpenter Debacle. Oh, and the complete over-itemization of T6 rare which eventually caused the compelte down-tuning of anything crafted.
