As is everyone else who now has the knowledge of what several avatars do. So I fail to see your point. No one at the time knew exactly what they would do. Although now almost every guild should know what each avatar should do. They are still nearly identical encounters. A level 88 named with a base Aoe, swarm adds, and a new raidwide check detrimental type effect.

The final ability was missing from this encounter even though the effect is on everyperson the check is never done and the detrimental is never recieved.

On the other hand i think servers with several avatars up is a GOOD sign. It may likely mean SOE decided to seperate the spawn timers of avatars. But failed to properly code the despawning/spawning mechanic of several avatars up at once.

i can't believe people are wasting so much negative energy on this post. it was a statement of success, not a "we're better than you" brag.

personally, i like knowing when something big happens. sony's given us precedent for broadcasts as a game mechanic in the "mytical" looting message. there's nothing wrong with announcing an important kill. if you don't care, then don't look.

there's no reason to blame t7m for getting a legitimate kill. nor is there any reason to decrease the cool factor of the kill just because spawn mechanics are totally borked. i'm sorry your guild didn't get it first, but seriously... grow some balls and deal with it like a big boy. don't just whine about it.

and in case you've missed it or it hasn't been stated, the avatar spawns on mistmoore started going crazy after valor died. at the very least: hate, below, justice, and storms were all up and depopped within an hour of valor dying. so it's still happening on mistmoore. we just happened to get lucky enough for it to not happen before we killed one.

No, unless I missed an item the dagger you are talking about gives +10% to poison damage but it does not affect the trigger %.

And yes...that weapon *does* look like a spiked dildo~.

That actually was an artifact of the bug that was fixed. The fix worked from the reset code, and since those avatars were up from the previous bugged iteration they had not yet hit that code. Once they were pulled and reset, they realized they should not be up and went away. This should be a one-time only thing and we should not see it again, if we do feel free to PM me. The avatar that your sever should have up would not have done this. Last night around 8pm we reset all the avatars so they were on the correct cycle on all servers.

You would actually be completely wrong about that. There is a lot of shit we don't link. Many discos have been transmuted even. Feel free to not link any discos if you'd like, we do it with some items to simply show some of the available gear drops and debate them. No one in our guild links shit to rub it in someone's face and this pretty much happens on every server.

sounds to me that the folly wasnt in the coding, but in the decision not to reset, if i understood you correctly.

I would expect you to kill any of the avatars if they pop and they aren't bugged. You killed all but one last expansion and from what I've seen/heard they are pretty much the same encounters.

QFE. I think everyone in the game's community would be grateful if we actually got more information like this given to us, so we know what is going on. We are looking for communication.
