Used standard procedure to get around the patcher and to character select, here....Shows my main server (AB) as down and several other alt servers as up, but I am immediately booted if I try to log in the servers that ppear to be up (but probably aren't).

I use profit and am able to get to character select.
just type in yer account info.
username and password, don't fill in the character name and server shit.
You'll go to CS then.
Befallen is down too btw, lol

Must be a big issue, I have a station pass and I get "operation timed out" on all soe online games. Can't log in to any of them, can't get to the soe website either. /sigh

Actually, you misread. It was Allakhazam that was the target of DDOS attacks... see Calthine's post in EQ2Flames about it (because Alla is back down again).

I would not be terribly surprised to find EQ2 also having DDOS -- it's certainly doing the same crap of not letting folks log back in or camp to a new character.

First the authentication server was down, then it came back up, the launcher does its update, but it can't find a login server at present.
