most dkp guilds run dkp with exceptions for main tank items...thats what officers and leaders are for

if you didn't have that set up then there is no reason to be surprised he took it

DKP is a sign of how much time is contributed to the guild. It's like your wages for your job to put it another way. If you think a person is being inconsiderate if they spend it, you're just being sore that they've put more time in.

Another point of interest, bruisers that occasionally offtank in raids, need alot of HP's if they want to survive for more than a second or 2. That cloak absolutely rocks for a bruiser. nothing wrong with him bidding high for it.

Now if it was a cloak that had HP... and also happened to have "+5% shield block" and your bruiser went all in... then maybe I'd call him an ass.
