They are gonna turn it into a raid zone but then when two guilds zone into it, it will be just as laggy.

lag is unplayable atm, bps spiking between 3k and over 25k, ping even spikes over 1k a few times and that is not on mobs which spawn adds, just simple trash encounters in VP

I'm getting horrid lag since the patch.

It's all packet loss, I can see the little red bars jump up everytime I engage a mob. And it's not just Raids, ya it's horrible there too, but I get it in instances and just trying to solo.

Spell will cast and then just pause for a second or two at the end, it's very very consistant for me. Long as I'm just running around doing nothing it's okay. Soon as I try to do something lag fest!

On the Wizard is has easily halved my DPS in raids and group instances. On my coercer, just means I die if I try to solo.

I would call the game pretty much unplayable atm, unless of course I just bring my Coercer to a raid do buffs and put him on AF, then no one notices how bad I'm lagging.

It's not waiting for data it's not rendering. If it was waiting for data it would still be rendering.

It sounds like the PVP servers are worse off than the PVE servers, I know I didn't have any lag last night.

What would help is if someone would PM me while you are in a zone that is lagging so I can log in and check out exactly what is going on. I check my email pretty much all day and PMs do send me emails so I should be able to hop in within a few minutes.

Expect PMs from me and other raiders on Nagafen at somewhere between 9-10pm EST. There's an almost 100% chance we'll be in VP raiding.
