Why are people getting pissed at snark for posting what he did? When was the last time SOE ever reached out to its community? ever? It wouldnt of mattered if snark didn't post the dev info because soe wouldn't of negotiated, they wouldn't of listened, and it doesn't matter how much more dirt you dig up on them. Things wont change.

Just keep riding out eq2 until a better game comes out and hope to god soe doesnt purchase it. or cancel your sub now, either way it wont initiate change

This is exactly what the community relation team has wanted for a while. They were just looking for an excuse to drop the axe. Gnobrin knows that he's been belittled to death because he's such a poor excuse of a community relations person.

There will be no compromise by them. This was their plan. They are ready to weather the storm. Only people who could possibly change things is Smed. I don't see him getting involved. It would show that he didn't have trust in his new EQ2 producer to handle the situation.

It's all political. Nothing done by Sony is based on logic.

Oh please. It can't be prostitution because the items are not real. They're just a collection of pixels, and all the pixels belong to sony. It can't be sexual harassment unless he had some actual power over her and could intimidate her into doing it. The dude just got a little action. You're just jealous. So am I, but I aint a hater.

I'm thinking of starting a guild that will be a safe haven for developers. If any devs are interested, send me a PM. Free strats, gear, and sex. That'll make this the perfect game.

You asking a corporation to compromise becuase you outted a few of their employees? I doubt they care. I have many friends in marketing and corporate relations in major firms thruout this country and I know enough about how Corps view these kinds of things. SOE is probably having a giggle over this. I'm sure they can get those in-game names changed or powerlevel new characters for those employees and get their emails changed. In fact thats probably done already. In fact I doubt they give two flying fucks about the employees outted.

Personally I give kudos to SOE for even associating with the site. I swore up and down they wouldn't due to some of the content and posters here. Sure there is great game content but theres also alot of racism, sexism, etc. here as well, elements that most public corporations steer clear of for political/public relations reasons. I give em props for at least trying in that regard. This incident was probably just an excuse to disengage themselves.

The only power a consumer has is to stop buying a corporations product. AOC is coming out soon.

hmmm anyways, i am one to complain when i've been wronged and it seriously effects me, but...you know what ill do if ive been wronged on a video game to an extent that i hate the developers or the game or whatever? its a video game, i can live without it, id never play a video game that i didnt like, that would be a waste of my free time on a grand scale.

so why do you guys play this video game that has developers that "wrong" you so often and that you hate so much, with a game thats so "buggy, has horrible raid balancing, nerfs your class all the time...etc etc etc." If something i do in my free time for my enjoyment pissed me off like that, well i would just not partake in said activity. Is my logic understood here?
