A good mezzer makes that encounter pretty simple. My guess is that you mezzed Derzitha and another and then snare kited the others?

You have to mez 1, kite another, kill the 3rd, all while hoping you don't run out of space, or get near the mez'd mob(because they auto-attack through mez).

Like others have said before...reconcilation is impossible now. The bridges have been torched, the ashes shit and pissed on, and then taken away in a flood.

There is no hope now.

Right after this happened, it may have been possible to fix the damage if cooler heads had prevailed. But as we have all seen...cooler heads did not prevail, and a firestorm started between LFG and SOE and Snark drove the final nail in the proverbial coffin with his post that consolidated the contact information for the developers/community managers/GMs/et al.

Hell...the EQ2 client even blocks the full URL of this website as spam now. So...I think it's safe to say that SOE now gives two squirts of piss about EQ2Flames and the opinions of it's community.

Oh...and as for EQ2 being a sinking ship...I doubt it. People have been calling EQ a sinking ship since before EQ2 came out...and it's now going on (or is currently celebrating) it's 9th Anniversary. Just because EQ and EQ2 doesn't have the subscription numbers of WoW (10M subscribers: 2.5M in North America, 2M in Europe, 5.5M in "Asian Countries") doesn't mean it's a sinking ship. And I'm sure WoW's subscription numbers are boosted by it's near non-existent system requirements that let a two year old Dell run it perfectly at launch.

You guys have a hugely overblown opinion of yourselves and this message board. The game EQ2 doesnt need this fourm, but this forum absolutely needs the game.

There is alot of great information here, but the only reason it is here is because this is where many players choose to post it. They could just as easily post it on the official forums, or another forum.

This forums true purpose is to bitch and whine. It's great for that. 90% of the posts are someone bitching and whining about the game or bitching and whining about the other posters. In other words, 90% of these posts is useless garbage. The other 10% of posts that are actually usefull could be posted on the official forums or elsewhere.

If none of the devs ever post here again it wont hurt EQ2 at all. All you guys have accomplished is hurting your own website.

Some devs cheat, how shocking. I dont care, and the vast majority of EQ2 players dont care. It doesnt affect or interefere with my own playing of the game, and it doesnt affect yours. The people that exploit the system are only cheating themselves out of the accomplishment, not the rest of us.

At some point you guys need to realize that EQ2 is just a game, and some dev or other player "cheating" or using exploits doesnt impact your own gameplay anymore then Joe Blow cheating at Monopoly 500 miles away impacts the Monopoly game you are playing in your own house.

B. These discussions are moderated into meaninglessness on the official boards.
C. You've obviously never been much of a competitor. If you had, you would understand the refs cheating to help the other team is WRONG and despicable.

This game isnt a competition. It's not you v/s them. There is no winning or losing this game. If thats the type of game you are after, you are playing the wrong one.

The players dont need this forum, any and all of the usefull posts that are on this forum could be placed on the official forums, and most of them are repeated there. It's those posts where the poster is unable to make a point without resorting to childish insults or other antics that only have a home here.

Its not just the posts that belong here but the posters. The posters need a place they feel comftorable posting. 90% of the people that post here CANT post on the official forums, or dont feel comftorable posting there.

This site lives (and with higher traffic than the OF) because there was a NEED for it.
