Hey LFG
Do we have an EQ2Flames disclaimer?

Wow your "Railroad Awesomeness" is just amazing! It's not like I could boast such experiences working in a hospital... Garsh! If only someone who has been in the blood, seen friends and family life lossed, knows the big picture of what dedication and commitment it requires to see things through, oo no, never. Garsh!
Seriously. There are two sides. You guys can get your heads out of your arses and stop calling the casuals "noobs" or making fun of them for asking questions on this site. Be real, be true to the community, and maybe you'll get your registered user number back up.
Till then, take your railroad life and learn that the small guy in the office that sent you to work on those ties is the casual. He plays a part in your every "login" or should I see work experience. :-)

I was more making a comparison that there's a difference between casual and hard core, moreso than stating any one career is more "awesomer" than the other, or more meaningful.
There is a Noob section here, people aren't made fun of, they're helped about 90% of the time from what I've seen, and more people come here for factual "in the shit" information than the official forums anyways.
Oh, I'm the guy in the office now by the way!

I prefer quality over quantity, unlike most fan sites, we're not a business nor do we plan to be one. We're here as a contribution to the community first and foremost. If our motivation was registered users (aka) the mighty dollar we would ass-kiss SoE and pray for scraps like the rest of the "community"; we don't. Our regular users are who we care about (casual and hardcore both) -- not the ones that left when SoE did.
Hell, in 3 years when EQ2 is old and moldy I hope we still have an active community here. I'd miss some of you fucks.
(That said, our traffic hasn't really changed since breaking affiliation.)

People have been predicting the death of this site since I retired this thread (our first major flame thread) in 2006: Ethereal Legacy - An ode to fucking losers...
The fact is, traffic goes up and down here based on game events and drama:
Traffic on this site will start steadily declining again until the next expansion, because fewer people will be playing, looking things up, and interested in the game until the next major game event. But it is very likely we will have more traffic spikes before then, like the ones shown above, based on new drama.
Just like I can't predict Earthquakes, I also can't predict when the next major EQ2 drama event will occur. All I know is that this site sits on the major drama fault line for EQ2, and based on past history, it is likely we can expect at least 2 to 4 major new drama events before the next major expansion/game event.
The traffic spikes we get from both game events and drama events gives us a major advantage over all other EQ2 sites, because other sites only get traffic spikes from game events.
