surprised i was able to still read that thread.

soe is a joke. and if i had my way id fire smedley, and put in a whole new dev team on all of soe's games. i dont understand why smed is still even in charge, with him in charge, all soe has done was lose subs.

i wont be comming back to eq2 until they do like a total revamp of every thing which wont ever happen so anoth said there, so its conan or warhammer prob wow, the only mmorpgs which will appeal to people,

i agree to much has been put on conan to be the next wow, this is only because theres nothing else to play.

whats the worse can happen? you get the game dont like dont play it.

I understand that you are here for the sole purpose of being a troll, thats obvious from the majority of your posts, and that's fine - that's part of the reason this site is here. However, you seem to have developed a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome if you are not actually, as some suspect, an SOE employee. Get help.

There are serious problems with several aspects of this game. There are also serious problems with every other MMO. I don't think anyone here is asking that everything in the game go "their way" as you say. I think they expect that all classes be raid viable/useful, all classes be group desirable, progression content that is broken should be high priority to fix and that effort expended is roughly equal to the rewards gained. We think that the people that create and support this game should actually play it so that they will understand game mechanics and terminology.

The difference is here we are made to feel that we are the ones at fault, that we should feel grateful that the servers are even on, and that any questioning of any kind that isn't overtly ass-kissing subservience will not be tolerated. Eventually some of us lose patience with the lack of response, or the snarky responses from people who don't even know what a mob lockdown is, or the blatant lies, or the silence when someone inside the company is exploiting his knowledge to forward his guild. Funny how that works, some people actually get pissed about that kind of thing. Go figure.

"If is wasn't for the fucking customers, this job would be great!" seems to be the prevalent attitude at SOE these days. The problem is that well worded, constructive posts are ignored just as much as the "fuck you Gnobrain, you retarded ass monkey" posts.

Whatever, I may as well be responding to a pool of anal discharge for all the good it will do me.

Totally how I have felt for the last few months. I just hope that The Shadow of Odyssey can bring back the old magic, but I personally think it will not; as long as a company tries to copy the market leader (in this case WoW), then it will always be playing catch up.
