64-68 or 70 is pretty horrible though cuz at least for me i ran out of quests and collections to do and there were rarely groups so i spent a lot of time grinding solo mobs for xp

Cancelled today. Probably won't make a difference. Reason? A combination of things. No desire to get set gear, bonuses are garbage for my class and I don't think anyone really gives a fuck. My mains new special skill gained is fucking garbage, doesn't work and I don't really think anyone cares to fix it. Lag is introduced over and over into this game. Its almost became exceptable to most. That in its self shows how porely thier QA department is. I've dealt with it for years and the problems reoccur over and over. I won't have to deal with it any longer. The final straw is the incidents that occured recently. I feel strongly about influence game developers have with in game aquaintences. Only a couple of instances came to light but rest assured, if these are the only occurances that were found, there is bound to be much more that will never be found out. Its tainted the gameplay for me. Good luck to those that stay. For me, its over when this account expires.

My account will be cancelled shortly as well. Im just waiting til AoC comes out and moving on over there... im personally tired of the childish BS in EQ2 and hoping that a Mature rating ona video game will filter out some of the 12 year olds and maybe even some of the adults with penis envy. =p

I havent really played the game much lately since LU43 so im not sure what you all are referring to as the latest "shit that hit the fan" gonna go peruse some threads and get the scoop!

Or perhaps it's simply the decline of the game thats pissing everyone off. And i'll agree EQ2 is becoming more anf more like WoW with every passing LU. if they make it any easier they are going to have to hand out with every subscription sold "your very own complimentary 80/140 class of your choice!!" /rolls eyes. I rememebr when this game launched it was a challenge...now its just a monotanous chore.

I thought about quitting. Not because I think that the game is going under. But because I just can't stand the current management of the game. I'm the type of person who really likes to be active in the community not just in the game. The new producer..he might be an alright guy..but he has not reached out to the community. I think that community relation team is more concerned about watching each others back than actually forging relations with the players.

In the end, other games may do the same thing but I don't play other games. I've played EQ2 almost since launch and things have gone downhill.

Communication...communication...communication...Th e EQ2 team just can't pull it out of their asses that this is the key. Hell, Vanguard is still going..why? Because even know they have enough bugs to feed all those in China..the devs are very active in communication with the players. The players feel apart of the game.

Anyway...I don't take this decision lightly..but I'm downloading my WoW demo..didn't like LOTRO...we'll just see...
