I cancelled two of my accounts, leaving a 80 Guardian named Doku and his epic behind, along with my first char lvl 80 Templar Domy. Reasons being, the game promotes casual play styles all the way, then you get to level 80, and you realize what they did about "replayability", raiding is hardcore in this casual game, and it drives the people away. Coming from EQ1, I'm pretty disapointed at how this game is kind of void community wise, it's a big solo game with chat rooms, but then again when you group and fight together there is NO time for chatting, or you're far from efficient if you're typing while killing.

Yep, I miss the good old days of Everquest 1, it meant something there.. you didnt feel like walking through a pre-coded labyrinth like in eq2 and oh yeah too many quests for my tastes... and after playing so much, I still didnt find enough time to learn all the classes correctly, because they are so versatile and different, it's a good and bad thing at the same time...

We live in a hardware and vendors world, and the products nowadays aren't able to bring back the joy I had playing old games like eq1, quake1, starcraft1...

Anyways just lurking, I'll still check out how this game turns out with time, just like I'm still looking back at games I already played. And no I'm not the WoW type, couldn't stand it the two times I tried.

i just canceled my accounts as well ...........im tired of just going through the motions with first everquest, then eq2 and vanguard ......sony has gotten enough of my money over the last 10+ years. tonight ive laid down the pipe after a long addiction with sony

Canceled accounts so long ago, why o why... I could only begin and end. Played eq2 from the closed beta till after kunark... stuff happens and RL takes control of many many things. Self dissapointments and overwhelming feelings could be a contender in my ending of life for eq2 but all in all it's a memory and experience I will never forget, thanks to all who were my friends and more and haha to all else....

I just read this entire fucking Thread and honestly i have got to say that this is fucking rediculous. Who the fuck cares who is leaving and who is coming. Who cares what the reason is behind it and who the fuck cares period. It is all personal opinions and thats it.
