...because I was logging in and not enjoying the game much at all.

-Raiding was the only reason for me to keep playing, and I found the raid content to be lacking and the scripting to be annoying with the loot really not scaling well. I like the people I raid with but my schedule change makes it unrealistic to stay up late raiding and I don't feel like looking for a new home this late into the game.

-Did I mention I wasn't very entertained? /yawn

-RoK, lag, the performace is getting worse as this game goes on!

-Class balance?? Yeah nvm.. who could expect such a thing.

-Idk if its just me, but I kind of get the impression that SoE is lacking... either in development of the game.. or the direction of the development of the game. Some bad decisions from the top down seem to have had some negative impact on Everquest 2. I could be completely wrong who knows.

-Overall lack of confidence of things truly getting much better.

-Finally, Age of Conan. Yep its early. I know maybe the game will be a let down in the long run... but at this moment.. from level 1 to 30 this game is serious fun in the PvP servers. Its more fun than waiting for the raid to form or wondering what we can raid because player X,Y,and Z maybe late or unable to raid. (Not bitching about my guild, I miss my fair share of raids for personal reasons as well). Anyways, theres lots of fun to be had with or without the support of a group.

Perhaps I'm completely off and everquest 2 is still the shit when it comes to mmos! Perhaps after 10years in norrath between eq1/eq2 I'm in need of a change. /shrug

Maybe I said it before, but lag can inhumanely destroy the thrill of even the most polished perfected content. It's dangerous to let it continue this long with the new MMO competition that just opened up because people are leaving because of it.
