Fucktards that can't understand the concept of effort caused SOE to remove group exp debt and shard runs, which were already a compromise for exp loss and corpse runs. And then over time the game was overly simplified time and time again, increased exp, castrating the already simple crafting system, shitloads of solo quests, revamping of zones to get rid of heroic content, nerfing mobs related to quests into oblivion so retards can complete them, Claymore, Nizara, SoD, ugh.

I can't really blame SOE for dumbing the game down in every aspect to cater to the dimwit masses, such as yourself, because it's a trend that seemingly every game on the face of the Earth has started following since WoW came along. It's fucking pathetic, never again will a non-indy game reach a difficulty comparable with Battletoads, if casual little Billy can't beat his new game in a single day it sucks! Even first person shooters are being affected now, Team Fortress 2 has criticals which allows even the most untalented quadruple amputee retard have the killing power of Fatal1ty in just 5 minutes of play. I guess I just hate the fucking masses.

But on the other hand, I can certainly blame SOE for everything else severely wrong with the game. Terrible CS, the GMs are downright retarded, EQ2 in entirety is severely understaffed, the few staff that do exist have no idea how the game actually works and suck at balancing classes, progression, and itemization. Every expansion has been rushed out unfinished and broken, there's hardly any testing done, beta is more of a marketing ploy than an actual beta test. And do I even have to mention the whole Froglok shit?

I also downright despised the assholes at SOE the moment they bought Infantry and removed Harmless Game's awesome bear holding a stick of dynamite in the intro. ...And removed all the good zones from the game and made it p2p to completely drive away the majority of the community. Granted they made it free again recently, but that's far too late seeing as the game is essentially fucking dead and nothing but a shadow of it's former self.

Time and time again SOE's proven that they have no fucking idea how to run a game, and that the world would be a much better place if they never existed.

In summary: FUCK SOE.

I canceled my account two days after LU#42 went live. I was a level 66 Coercer when I went to KP 4 days before the patch. I was doing well running the quests and absolutely loving the class. I had been told about Coercers being able to solo in KP by level 80 Coercers whom had leveled there over the previous 6 months. 4 days later, Coercer pets were nerfed on PvE without warning or apparent reason. I was dropped from being equivalent to a necro or wizard in soloability to something on par with a fury. The devs showed a high level of ineptness by leaving the fact that pets were nerfed out of the patch notes. In exploring problems with pets being nerfed I discovered that coercers had long been neglected and I wasn't going to pay for a game that had inept devs that play favorites with the popular bubble-gum classes like assassins, necros, wizards and rangers. I was paying the exact same amount as all of them to play a coercer and I wanted equal treatment. I canceled my account and logged in 2 times for Sunday guild raids and my account finally expired on 3/2. My second 2 box account expired shortly after.

In response to the comment about Blizzard laughing their asses off, I don't even think they took the time to care because they are too busy rolling in a pit of money like Scrooge McDuck.

WoW isn't my bag, and I know I'm going to hit up Warhammer when it comes out anyway, so rather than pick up something else short term I'll just cruise and harass the devs and NPU. At least the drama will be entertaining. Like I said:

I've grinded xp above and beyond most people who think they're hot shit for wanting eternal grind periods, I have room to talk and as much room as I please. Grinding in MMO's the way you think is so awesome, is dead. Rather than appear cutting-edge, you're presenting yourself as a fossil waiting to be discarded.

I am all in favor of instant gratification such that the learning curve and character growth curve is chopped down to the point where you can have a blast from the moment you log in. It's a lonely fucking game between 1 and 80.
