If I actually gave a shit about what all you have to say and read this whole thread I would probably end up killing myself because of how depressed I would be at the state of the human race that people come here to complain so much about a freaking game and they come to the forums for months after quitting just to make fun of other people or yell at sony while the rest of us go on enjoying the game. Who's the real loser?

It's threads like this that make my day. Sometimes I get a little down on myself, think I'm not doing enough with my life. Then I read what the no-perspective no-life ass-clowns like the people in this thread have to say. And I am reminded that by some standards, at least, I'm really amazingly awesome.

I'm really thinking about cancelling... I'm a Guide on Nek server (the rules are really restricting, but the experience and power are at least more fun than actually playing eq2). Had a horrible run in with crappy cs about 2 months ago... apparently, I was buying plat (I earned it off the broker) so they took all of my money on all of my chars, my mounts on my two mains and one of my main's equipment away...

i originally got into guiding because i loved the game and wanted to make a difference on nek server, but i never expected the rules of guiding would be so... restricting and weird. all of the rules they expect you to adhere to really destroy a good experience... it's like they don't want you to have fun. you're at work or something...

and of course one of the main rules is to NEVER EVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT THE RULES OR ELSE WE'LL TAKE YOU TO COURT...

caps for emphasis on how many times they state that in the GM policies and procedures. i find it so odd how much i hate the GMs of eq2, and yet i count as one of them... but a volunteer, at that.
