It's the opposite of RoK apparently. Not as bad at it seems, but it's no KoS either.

I log to raid and play WAR when I don't ;).
So I take it that TSO isn't a soloist expansion like RoK was. I always though EoF has better zones than KoS

Nope, TSO is actually mostly-group based. Maybe next expansion is raid-based?
KoS appears to be the most well-recieved expansion IMO. I like it for the most part except for its soundtrack, which was subpar to other EQ2 soundtrack pieces. Yeaah.

How the hell is AoC doing anyway?
AoC is doing ok but still needs work.
Tier 1 and 2 raid zones are working and T3 is still unrealeased . Still some bugs with raid zones but you get through them.
Itemization changes are "coming soon" with new end game content. But it really needs other endgame stuff to. No player titles etc to aim for like EQ2.
Raids don't use smartloot like EQ2 so alot of epic drops can go waste. Only 1 set or armor and about 2 weapons per tier and no other types of things drop.
Raids also aren't like EQ2 with the invincible tank set-up and you need 2 or 4 off tanks to do most zones lol.
It's fun if you prefer a more an MMO without auto-attack but isn't the MMO out there.

Didn't Funcom run out of money or something? I forget the story so..

They probably ran out of funds. It had already been delayed twice that year so pressure was mounting from investors.
From the TSO guide it looks they have reused most of the old exps and just added new zone-ins. Did TSO even add much new land mass to explore ?
