I wanted to cancel when they released TSO because they nerfed some AA tres that i used and i felt my characters were useless. I then realized i could use another tree and stopped crying and didn't look like an idiot anymore.

Dungeon Runners: Failing to see if was from NCSoft, the 12 dollar price tag sold me. Two days later after failing to patch it because of shit software I give up and toss it in the garbage. Otherwise the verdict is its the best(only) MMO they got because the cover made me roffle.

Stat-wise, probably not, but there are better things than raw stats. Even the mentor-nerfed items are still going to have +defense/parry/etc mods, a greater variety of blue effects, plus charm slot items drop in abundance and some of the cloaks are pretty decent. MC items are very generic and raw stat heavy.

I'll concede that the xp rewards for running these zones is well under what it needs to be and that solo-quest xp is way over what it needs to be and this is something SOE sorely needs to recitfy immediately.

To the MMO community in general, SOE is hated. Hated. Look at it this way: Is Blizzard's CEO photoshopped in gay porn? No. Is NCSoft's CEO photoshopped with "PURE EVIL" in red letters on his head? No. Is EA/Mythic's CEO photoshopped to look like Satan? No. Is SOE's CEO photoshopped to be all of the above? Yes.

There are many things people hate SOE for. The SWG fiasco (which apparently, LA had a bigger say in,) Froglokgate, the charity thing a now-former-SOE-employee disregarded, the Unrest server crap, EQ2Flames drama, and most recently, Station Cash.

I am not saying SOE is purely evil. They're not. In fact the only MMO company I've told off completely is Square-Enix for their retarded policies involving their game. But they are nowhere as hated as NCSoft is. Keep in mind I've never even touched a NCSoft game.

I'm just saying, SOE is probably the least popular MMO comp- well, second to FunCom.

RoK sucked the fun out of many many classes so it sucked, TSO only sucked the fun out of one class so it's acceptable. anyone not happy with TSO just can't be happy period. i guess there is a lack of solo content but who knows maybe they will add in some splitpaw like action packs later on. cos no fucking way i can grind all my toons to 200 aa in a decent amount of time with the current content.

No, SOE is really hated amongst the MMO community. Go to, say, Massively or MMORPG.com (as fucking retarded as MMORPG.com is) and ask which MMO company can get a dick. You are guaranteed SOE or Funcom. Or the guys who made Dark and Light, the French company NP Cube. That game's so shitty that anybody saying WoW, EQ2, LOTRO, etc. is the worst MMORPG ever should be forced to play Dark and Light for a week because I know they'll want to eat shit and die within the first 45 minutes of the debacle. Also they're convicted, lol.

I never said I disliked SOE. I'm neutral with them. I was so close to canceling my account after the EQ2Flames drama and Station Cash but whatever, I'm fine with EQ2 as is, it might be my last MMORPG for a while due to college. In fact, SOE does a lot of things right (taking Vanguard, making it decent and snickering at Brad "Lunatic" McQuaid in the background) but they also need to communicate better with the players and not be so stealthy on things. At least Rothgar is listening (to Peak, when it comes to PvP.) It just so happens a Darkfall fanboi is trying to push Rothgar away from attempting to see what exactly PvP needs.

I'm just saying, this isn't what I think. This is what the community in general appears to think. The MMO community jacks off to Blizzard (kind of) and Aventurine and yet spits on SOE, EA, NCSoft, and FunCom. And they shit on NP Cube (good, fuck NP Cube. Ils sont très stupide.)
