Astaroth has been in NPU for a very long time. He rarely raids, and just logs in to take loot noone else wants. Even if you didn't know he was a dev, you would have to know that there is something besides standard NPU guild policy that is allowing this person to remain in the guild.

He gets them into betas, he gives them Q/A notes, he provides them with detailed information about what other developers are working on, and even throws in a little of what drama might be going on at work.

I don't blame them for keeping him around

This is fuckn crazy, do you honestly expect the devs to not play their own fuckn game? Are you out of you're fuckn mind? I bet they catch alot of fucked up shit front hand by simply playing and if some guild get lucky to host them, then good for them.

This is actually true. If you read interviews with devs, they talk about playing the game on their free time and finding things that are broken. I think even one dev said that he writes them down to look at when he gets to work.

The point im getting at, the devs are welcome, hell I will ask em to play the game, by all means.

The issue is, they SHOULD NOT be giving out insider information, for any reason, I dont give a fuck to whom, for whatever reason, ever, period.

They should NOT be allowed to share any kind of work related info on their private toon, not ever.

The fact is this should be common goddom sense, and when it comes to this dev team, IT ISNT. They are a bunch of unethical little bastards who hand out freebies to friends and strats to their guild, thats why its wrong.

At the same time the dev's are only human, Look at like this imagine you're a dev and your out and its raid time. You're guild has been wiping for the last 2 hours because they are doing sometihng wrong they dont know but you do. What are you gona do? You just gona stand there and wipe over and over when all you have to say is hay mr tank pull mr epic over here instead.

At the same time, if they're in a guild that bad, I'd be willing to say they'd be wanting to move onto another guild by that point. I know how frustrating it is wiping to the same mob, over and over again. I also know how enjoyable it is knowing that you killed the mob without outside help.

Yes they should keep their mouth shut and wipe over and over. If their guild is that good in the first place they shouldn't need strats from anyone on how to kill a mob.
