I'm pretty tired of the Freeport disadvantages - Page 4

I tried to have a few characters in Queernos and nearly put my head though monitor. The whole town make me want to puke. Freeport is pretty cool with the whole floating citidel thing, but then again SOE never did shit with that. Neriak was pretty cool, but then FG sucked ass. Commonlands look like they took about 15 minutes to make. I understand how the "good" side should look pretty and all that, but the Freeport side should look bad ass. Big torture devices covered in blood and maybe an execution square that is used? Then again there are lots of things I would change about the game. Maybe someday I will work for them and do it, or maybe I will work against them and make the competition better.

People notice the absence of a Coercer from a raid more than they notice the absence of an Illusionist. And don't forget the overpowered Necromancer. I think FP generally has the better combat selection.

The EFP broker is right next to the collection turn-in guy, which is great.

My Qeynos toon can use the Kelethin broker.

My Freeport toons cannot.

How is that even remotely fair?

I agree that all the hard work gives FP players a bit of a edge, however my main contention is the lack of new races that are evil. This has been mentioned before, but I think it bears repeating. Anyone that wanted to be FP on a froglok had to go thru the long betrayal process and there isnt the ability to betray ones Fae as of yet. This is definitely too one-sided. Even that "other" game figured this out and is introducing races for BOTH sides of the player base in January. :p

And what Edge is this?

Both side has their ups and downs for classes and such, but good has a much larger market and has two town =p.

I think SoE has to make the broker fee even for all players, not restrict Freeport players from quest content that will provide over 2 achievement points to Qeynos players, and not require Freeport citizens to exile and lose all Masters etc. just to switch from Freeport to Kelethin, when Qeynos players can switch after about an hour's questing, and are not required to exile first.

It is not Bullshit at all. Why? Think about it Sony has to make there good Vs Evil shit so that all classes can continue to be 2 sides of the same coin bull.

And I take it Fae can only start as good classes or no?

Either way my point is the next major area will probably be Kunark and the city there will be??? EVIL side. meaning Q's wont be able to use there Broker.

I mean they have already laid Hints and lore about how the iksar are fighting a war in kunark. remember the irontail rep in FD?

Maybe! you'll get Sarnak as a new playable race with the release of new kunark.

Btw wasn't there lore somewhere about how kunark's and velious' poles shifted or soemthing? so velious is warm now and kunark is cold?

think we'll get dark fae (whatever they were called) and fey betrayal and mebies some dark fae city type place as an adventure pack or something... would hope so anyway.
