That to secure these rights, Message Boards are instituted among Gamers, deriving their just powers from the consent of the gamers, That whenever any Form of Communication becomes Destructive to these ends, it is the right of the Gamers to Alter or Abolish it, and to Institute a New Forum, laying it’s foundation on such principles and organizing it’s powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Gaming Experience. Common Fucking Sense, indeed, will dictate that Gamers long established in this game should not be ignored for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that Players are more disposed to Suffer, while forced to post on your forums, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. When a long string of bullshit and abuse, pursuing invariable the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to not fucking frequent such Shitty Forums, and to provide new Grounds for their future enjoyment of this game and Conversations.

Such has been the patient sufferance of these Gamers: and such is now the necessity which commands them to alter their former Posting Systems. The history of the present Dictatorship of the Sony Online Entertainment Official Everquest 2 Forums is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over this Game. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid Populace.

SoE has refused to allow our type language.

SoE has engaged in favoritism.

SoE has forbidden peoples from posting in freedom, be it their own employees or some of the more infamous people from EQ2Flames.

SoE has lied, cheated, or totally ignored several instances of corruption and played down any that they actually have admitted to.
SoE has removed our representation from focus groups for improvement of the game based on posts from people speaking in the free manner allowed, even when deleted and admonished for doing so.

SoE has refused for a long time, after hearing explanations in clear text without expletives and hate speech, valid improvements and or repairs for this game.

SoE has endeavored to prevent the masses which are EQ2Flames, a solid voice for improvement.

SoE has made a general fucktarded ass of itself time and time again and then covered it up, or tried to, and deleted any threads which point out this general asshatery ad naseum.


Nor have we been wanting in attentions to our Official Forum posting brethren. We have spoke with them from time to time of attempts by the masses on the Official Forums to extend and unwarrantable jurisdiction over us and our thoughts by ignoring them outright, refusing to sticky our posts, or deleting them outright.

We have appealed to their twisted sense of “Forum Rules” and magnaminity, and we have tried to make things right, so we could all enjoy this game together and play in an environment that would make the game a better place for everyone. They have been utterly deaf to the voices of reason and good gamesmanship that the majority of our membership present to them out of pigheadedness and/or pride in knowing that their way is the “only way.” We must therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Seperation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of the Gaming Community, Enemies in War, in Peace Co-Habitants.

We, therefore, the Gamers at EQ2 Flames, in General Agreement, Appealing to the Gamer Gods everywhere for rectitude of our intentions, in the name of all that’s right and just, and by the good authority of these gamers that frequent EQ 2 Flames declare, that these Gamers are, and of right ought to be free from your bullshit forums, your dictatorship of game progression or lack and ignorance thereof, solemnly publish and declare that we are done with this piece of shit you call the “Official Forums.” As independent and free gamers we have the right to an opinion of the games we pay to play, we WILL call you out on your bullshit double standards, We know this game and the rules of it better than you probably ever will, and we’re just that much fucking Cooler than you are. Ya Rly.

My friend, your eloquent words ring true (Although I am a noob and as of yet am still unclear as to how much of the game system works) and I agree 100% with your well written "Declaration".
In a bit over a month using the Official Forums I saw countless threads pulled (for merely criticizing Sony in a coherent and constructive manner) and I myself have seen a plethora of inexcusable problems with both the game and the customer service.
I just dont understand how such a fantastic game should be plagued by many issues both large and small and that an elitist party line attitude is so prevalent in the Official Forum that merely pointing out flaws (Flaws I might add, that could be easily corrected) is enough to get your post pulled.
You have summed up my feelings and now I think you should turn your creative energy to the legalization of Cannabis

You can within reason now, its a little more strict than it is here, and has gotten much stricter than it used to be in the past year and a half two years. (Was a member since the first year when devs actually responded immediately back to questions and asked opinions of ideas being implemented and implemented forum user ideas into the game)
